I'm so very happy because I lost 9 pounds in one month! Weekly workout routine consists of:
Monday: Full body weighted exercises and dumbbells - 40 min.
Tuesday: Eliptical machine cardio -1 hour
Weds: Pilates video with use of dumbbells - 40 min.
Thurs: Day off
Fri: Aerobic video cardio - 1 hour
Sat.: Full body weighted exercises and dumbbells - 40 min
Sun.: Light exercise - 20 min jog
Could I improve on anything with program? i.e. less cardio, more strength training? goal is to lose 40 pounds and build muscle.

You could try doing interval training, replacing the hour spent on the elliptical. Unless you like being on there for an hour.
