Workout Routine help

Post by WarnedTimothy »

Hello everyone I was just wondering if this is a good workout routine. I've been working out for about a month now.

Monday-Chest
Tuesday-Back and Abs
Wednesday- Cardio (hockey)
Thursday- Biceps and Triceps
Friday- off
Saturday-off
Sunday-Cardio (hockey)

I'm not going to post all the workouts yet, but I think that is good any pointers would be appreciated thanks :D

To be honest I do not want to do the Waterbury Method. I would just like to come up with own. And I can do another exercise in one of the days off. And lower body? legs get worked out in hockey. Any help to make it better please, because I want to start the routine Monday. Thanks.

You can re-jig that so it looks a bit like this example.

Monday-Legs
Tuesday- Chest and Triceps
Wednesday- Cardio (hockey)
Thursday- Day Off.
Friday- Biceps and Triceps
Saturday-Day Off
Sunday-Cardio (hockey)

if you strength train the legs you can increase your speed and stability on the ice. If you work you back and shoulders you can increase the strength you put into your shots. Doing sprint work off the ice will help with speed and explosive actions. So would box jumps, skipping and other such exercises.

Just some thoughts

hmmm what was that progression again....

want strong arms, need strong chest, need strong back, need strong core, need strong legs. Just like tree, grasshopper, you must have strong roots to have strong branches.

 really?

 Yes grasshopper!
