I've never had sushi. It wasn't anything my family ever made, so I've just never been exposed to it. I guess I'm a little intimidated by the "raw" aspect of it.

I never said I've never had sushi >.> lol

I've only had it once though. But it was gross. So I've never had it since. Nothing says "I don't like the food you made me" like throwing up in the kid sitting next to me's lunch box without him looking..lol

We are so making a pitstop on our way to amatalaxksjhckdsks' place.

Also, yes, I have made my own. It's one of those things my sister and I do when we get together. Man. It's a lot of work but sooo fun and delicious!

Which is why you should make it yourself! Its fun, delicious, and nutritious. I don't use raw meat though.. that scares me. I use shrimp, smoked salmon, and crab instead of raw stuff.

My dad's a shark fisherman. When we were kids (and we used to kill 'em, all tag n release now) we used to filet them on the boat and eat it w lemon juice. Omg.

Oh you don't have to have raw. You can always have it cooked. You are seriously missing out! If I lived closer I would totally come over and make some for you! Its SOOOOOOOOOO good! I'm making some next weekend and I can not wait.

Yeah, it just isn't the same. I think it's the rice that makes the difference...probably because I don't put sugar in my sushi rice. ;)

Cassie, those homemade protein bars sound awesome and I have all of those ingredients in my kitchen right now!! I just need a lil detail on how to prepare them. Do you cook the oatmeal first then mix it all up? Do they need baking or refridgeration?? Sorry to sound so DUH! but I just want to make sure I prepare them correctly! Oh, and I have started doing the egg in the oatmeal thingy in the morn. I put 3 eggs (1 whole and 2 whites) in the oatmeal. Is that enough?? It's yummy and convenient! :D Thx!!
