Thanks Lynne and Bossman. I actually feel awesome about what I did. I KNOW that without the injury, I would have dominated. I was scared as hell before the match thinking it was the other way around, but now know. I like fighting so much. I never want to stop

That's a lesson to learn then. If you're in a situation like that next time, don't let it affect you in any way. The situation didn't force you out of the fight, so then it's a case of I am still in this and if I go down, I'll go down trying my best.

She's very fortunate she's not a man, because if you did that to a man, he'd sound like a women for a week

I had the BEST weekend ever!!! Went to my first martial arts seminar in Canada, in Edmundston. There were people from all over canada and a few of us from the US including the man in charge of the United States. The guy, Shihan Fugiwara, who is this huge deal in my world, remembered my name. I have only been introduced to him a once, but he has seen me fight a few times. On the first day, I felt like I should be a white belt again. We trained two days from 8am till 5PM

We did punches with weights for about 2 hours, then we hit bags. There were five bags and holders. My teacher was holding the bag for the "womens' line. There were three lines for the men. Shihan wanted to even up the lines. My Sensei shouts out, take Patty, she hits like a man! At which I was a bit taken back. Guys are great and all that but I never want to be one. Everyone laughed. Shihan takes two girls from behind me and moves them than asks me to go into a different line. Practicing the old "one, two" (jab, cross) five times each. I pushed the guy back!!! So my next turn, shihan was walking by and actually held the guys back so I couldn't knock him back. So funny!

After that the Canadians came up to me and told me that they had a nickname for me. They said that they forgot what my last name was so since the world tournament they had been calling me PowerHouse Patty!!

After class on the second day, we (my group becasue we all have the same mental age) went to the playground and played all over the monkey bars and slides. On the way home we stopped by grand falls.

I wish it didnt have to end, sweet weekend!

What you mean Barack Obama showed up? Presumably he imagined one of the guys was Gaddafi and kicked the crap out of him.

He must have sneaked that quick trip in before coming here.

Nah, I knew what you meant, but I had to take the chance before it went begging. That was a quality moment I couldn't resist.
