I use lite soy milk. It has 6 g. protein, 6g. carb, 4g. sugar, 1.5 g. fat, 60 calories in a cup. Trying different kinds. My son has lactose issues so we had to switch to soy. :)

I was using soy milk and also tried Almond milk - liked them both! But I've settled on Fat Free Organic Milk or water. It's funny, at one time I had a hard time using 1% milk vs. 2% - now Fat Free tastes just fine to me, as a matter of fact anything else seems creamy - it's all in what you get use to and I figure that's an area I can control my calories.

Any way I just got home from my meeting, and I "needed" to eat something. My choices (in my mind) were ice cream (actually cream and sherbet combination) or a Weight Watchers Ice Cream Bar - I settled on a cup of Chocolate Cheerios with FF Milk - I love those Cheerios, only 100 calories! I think if I added up what I ate today I'd be ok.

Tomorrow I need to go to one of my rentals (tenant moved) and clean the yard, rake, cut grass, scrape and paint trim on the house (otherwise vinyl sided) - anyway, whatever needs to be done to get it ready to re-rent (inside to be done Sunday)...sooooo, not sure I'll be able to get in my Cardio, but I'm sure I'll get a workout none the less. :)

OMG did I get a workout today! Worked 6 hours, no break! I raked, was down on my hands an knees pulling weeds, cutting overgrown flower/vegetable gardens, grass...the whole length of the fence, sidewalk and driveway needed heavy grass/weeds to be removed. I also cleaned the mold off the siding (two sides completed) with a long brush and scrub brush (for harder areas) I'm beat!!! and the best part is I get to do it all over again tomorrow  (IF I can move!) - maybe not the same things, but just as much of a workout. Looks like that will be my exercise for a few days, the place was a mess inside and out. (sigh)

That sounds like a hard day's work! And definitely counts as your workout. I''m sad that the place was left in such a mess. :(
Have your leaves up north already turned? Ours down here are just now beginning to turn. It is really looking pretty along the roads. :D

Almost all the leaves are off the trees - one more day of picking up all the leaves at home - lots and lots of them on the ground :( But it sure is pretty up here when they start to change, there is nothing like New England! :)

Hi Nokie!!! I don't get to other forums much so always miss you ! Maybe you can start one here, we do workouts, food, EVERYTHING here! :D LOL

Today cleaned, cleaned and cleaned, then painted for hours! I can't tell you how dirty this place was - ugh! The former tenant stopped by today and I asked him if his girlfriend had lived with him ....lately? He said yes - I said my definition of cleaned up and his were waaaaaay different - he said, "We DID clean" = OMG~! If I cleaned the inches of dirt and dust would be gone!?!?!? And the slats on the window coverings - ack!! Anyway I asked about his girlfriend because (even though it sounds sexist) I can't imagine ANY woman living there! Just maybe, a big MAYBE for a single male who just doesn't give a crap :( This particular house is small and we completely gutted it and put a new kitchen, bath, new flooring, including refinishing all the wood floors before they moved in - it was a little dollhouse - the kitchen floor has a hole in it in the middle and all torn up by the door, the door that has been chewed to pieces - oh by the way, they have a dog  Off again tomorrow to put the second coat of paint in the kitchen and bath, need to clean the refrigerator - had to THROW OUT the stove it was so bad:( We put it on the sidewalk and someone came and picked it up within 10 minutes - yeah!! No dump run! We have a professional coming Monday to replace the kitchen and bathroom floors.

I'm off soon to visit my brother for a few days - I think I mentioned his operation - I just want to see him <3 He told me today he's not feeling that well - still unbalanced and blood pressure is off the roof - I hope it's temporary - he doesn't feel good about it :(

Cleaned and painted from 8 am to 1 PM - done at least until I get back from my brothers - I think I'll try to get a weight program in this afternoon - I miss my routines! So, I'm off to shower and get the rest of my day going. I'll try to get back and hopefully have a workout to report!

Yes, Bonnie - I have a deposit but it surely won't be enough, but better than nothing.

Have a great day!

Edgar - no way you live like this place was - I'm still not sure I'll be able to get the stink out - can't imagine what they did with this dog?!?!? Seems like they left it for days.....I hope after we replace the kitchen and bathroom floors it will eliminate the smell. If there is urine embedded in the wood floors we are in big trouble

I'm off to the airport !

Have a great day!

Happy Thanksgiving all! I haven't had a minute since my return from Florida to workout or post! I've been cleaning and painting 9-5 every day! Today I get time off.....to cook a big meal!! While in Florida I rode a bike everyday for at least 1 hour, mostly more, but in Florida it's not that difficult, everything is so level :)

Good news is I lost 6 lbs - lbs that I had gained back, but a loss none the less. (Guess painting and cleaning is good for me)Hope I can get through today without making a pig of myself! It's one of my favorite meals!

Enjoy your day!
