You guys are the best! If I ever am feeling down all I need to do is come here....but I do need to lose more, and I will! Today my son Jeff came over to help figure out where to place my new equipment - it's coming next week!!! I had it all planned out based on product dimensions and a graph that identified each foot - it was all off!! I didn't take into consideration the 7 ft BB and room to get and put away the plates on the side.... along with a 70" bench - Ha!! Anyway I'm back to the drawing board - glad he came over, or I would've been in big trouble when they came to deliver!

I'm not going to the gym today either - my tummy is a little off and I'm afraid to be "away" if you know what I mean

Ugh Tummy issues are *the* worst.

Feel better, keep your chin up, and get that gym set up and send pics! I want to see all your new toys?

By the by? Do you have a pull up bar? Love those bad boys!!

I had a slight shock then when you said 70" bench. My mind was elsewhere. I suddenly realised it's only 5ft 10. My wandering mind initially concluded, that you had bought something, stretch limo sized. Not sure why I thought that bench sounded monsterously long :? :?.

Must have just had a moment I guess :P.

Don't worry about the holiday. As long as you feel you have done what you thikn is your best that's all that matters. You can't make more physical change happen, without trying to force it, and then you potentially start spoiling months of good hard work, because the body doesn't like being forcefully told what to do very much. It likes a bit of education, and the time and space to do what it is capable of.

I'm still sick :( Today I hope to get to the doctors, this has been going on too long and getting worse instead of better. Not only intestinal problems, but my body aches al over and I know it's not from working out! I didn't realize how long it's been - last time I was at the gym was Oct 7th! Hopefully I'll get back to my normal routine soon!

While you are sleeping, just dream about those Aruba beaches and how you are gonna sit there with your tootsies in the sand, soaking up the rays, sipping a cool tropical drink with one of those little paper umbrellas in it! :D :D

I'm "almost" feeling better just reading your messages :) Thank you!! Unfortunately I'm not :( Doc said I was going to live...one of those, "there's something wrong, we don't know what it is" diagnosis - Ha! I could've stayed home and told myself that! Anyway, just need to watch what I'm eating - had (sorry!) peanut butter and jelly on crackers tonight for dinner, thought that would be bland and I just really felt like them(I haven't had much of an appetite)... but they gave me belly cramps - yuck!Electrician is here - that's another story! :(

Feeling better today - just might be able to go to the gym later. I'll probably do some Cardio and weights...but might take it somewhat easy. I can't wait to get back to normal! :)

Today! Finally went to the gym even though I am still not 100%. I did 33 minutes on the treadmill including, WU, 3 intervals at 7 mph, then 5 at 2 mph, then a steady 20 at 3.7 mph. Felt good!! I was especially happy because when I was movning a piece of furniture the other day with my son I dropped a large piece on my knee....it's bruised and hurts somewhat, but walking, running on the treadmill didn't bother it at all! I think it's nothing serious....hurt like hell at the time. Tonight I've developed a crick in my neck, no apparent reason?!?!? It's been Tiger Balmed - and I'm off to bed!

Oh! I'm back to my low (since beginning my new life style) of 168 - guess being sick helps sometimes! :)

That's good news, Lu! And I'm sure it wasn't just because you were sick. :) You've been really going lately, doing alot of work over and above your workouts...like moving furniture, etc.
Sounds like you really hit the gym today with a renewed energy, good job on the treadmill workout!
Not sure about the crick in your neck, might be a side effect (muscle aches) from your sickness, give it a day or so, I'm sure it will be fine.
Good to hear from ya girl! ...this place just ain't the same without you and your incredible energy and positive outlook :D

It's nice to be back! Thanks Lynne!

Today still had work to do to close the camper, but went to the gym in the afternoon today. Rainy day :(

WU - 50 Jumping Jacks
Leg Raises 2 x 15
Supine Bridges 2 x 12
Glute Kickbacks 2 x 10
2 Side Planks 15 secs
2 Prone Planks 30 secs

Hip Abductions - 3 x 12 70 lbs
Hip Adductions - 3 x 12 65 lbs

Single Arm Rows - 3 x 10 35 lbs
Combo Shoulder Press/Squat - 2 x 10 (15 lb DB's)
2 x 10 Sumo Squats
Lat Pull Downs 2 x 8 70 lbs
4 Chin ups - 12 assist
20 Walking Lunges

Stretching and done....didn't want to push myself today so went easy - no deads, no weighted squats. Swanso says not to do bench presses or incline presses (I wanted to do them!) because of my rotator cuff. It really does hurt, but not when I do those exercises...I get so confused :? My neck is still stiff a little, but my tummy seems ok :)

All in all a good day!
