Okay, since we are into cars today...what was your first car?
Mine was a 1976 Datsun B210 hatchback. Standard 4 speed.
I learned how to drive a standard on the test drive...during Friday lunch hour traffic on the busiest street in town. The car salesman was a wreck by the time we got back to the car lot!! lol! Ahhhh...memories...I was so proud of that car!

Mine was a 1987 Mustang Convertible (not a good car for Wisconsin winters, especially for a 16 year old). My first manual was a Pontiac Sunfire - I didn't know how to drive manual until that day :) I bought the car and learned on my way home :) It was interesting, to say the least...

It was my sister's car (she is a year older than me) but when I got my license I couldn't drive manual so she got "Appaloosa" because it was manual. It was a Ford something, really old model and we called it the Appaloosa because it had a bumper sticker that said Appaloosa that we couldn't get off  She hated me for it... then to make matters worse for her, the soft top was in really bad shape so my parents replaced it for me after I was in an accident (it was in the shop already so they just had it done). While that was in the shop for six months I had to drive a '66 Mustang (my dad's pride and joy at the time). I hated it!! It didn't have power steering and the headlights were on the floor, pretty much out of my reach. My sister didn't have much sympathy for me...

Appaloosa sounds like a real winner.... I can see some sibling rivalry, and you were the "baby of the fam" right? So, they must have all teased you about being spoiled?

I had a '64 Chevyll Nova like that, manual steering, 283-V8, four-speed, go like crazy in a straight line, scare you too death around the corners
