Thanks guys!  I've made some adjustments to my diet, cutting out some carbs and adding more protein, plus adding more workouts in the week, 2 a day workouts have really helped I think. Just hope it continues to go down, and not get stuck again for what seems like forevvverrrrrrr!! :D

Todays workout:

8.5 mile road run
Felt awesome the whole way. Ran with a group of running friends. I really felt like I could have run at least 10, but know better than to push it too much.
Weighed myself again to make sure yesterday wasn't a dream...
160.2! yay!! Down another .4! 159 by next friday is looking better all the time!

I know! I'm so excited!! Thanks ladies!

Today's a.m. workout:

4 mile road run.
Struggled a bit, not as good a pace as i would have liked, but I toughed it out and sweated buckets, so I know it did some good - better than not going at all. I was tired this morning, I literally stood at the end of my driveway, mentally arguing with myself, trying to find the willpower to take that first step. Not every day is a good day, or an easy day, even to do something that you normally love. The last thing I wanted to do in my foggy morning mind was lace up, leave my house, and go out in the dark and run down the highway, dodging road kill and still sleepy drivers who are hugging the white line a little too close for comfort...but I did it, and I'm so glad I was able to overcome what was in my head, and do the work I needed to do.

Hope everyone has a good Monday, and gets out there, or to the gym, or just in the living room, wherever you need to be and gets your workout done. If I can do it, you can do it!!!!

Tues. workout:

RIPPED class at gym. The intensity was upped a bit from the past 2 weeks, and I did more jumps, kicks, reps, etc. It kicked my butt - but that's okay as long as it shrinks my butt. Very hard workout - but something about it I just love. I am addicted to it. I love pushing myself. I kept thinking during the workout when I thought I would pass out - that I am here to work, and not waste time, I wanted to get the most out of that hour as I could.

Wednesdays workout:

Hill sprints - 10 repeats, then 2 mile run.

breakfast: protein shake
lunch: tuna, boiled egg, 2% cottage cheese / half apple, 2 tbsp. all natural pb
(fast becoming my favorite meal) :D
snack: 2% greek strained plain yogurt w/strawberry spread
post workout: protein shake / 1/2 banana
dinner: ? maybe a chicken breast w/cottage cheese.

on the hill sprints, I shortened the distance but increased the speed. Ran as fast as I could up a steep 50 yard hill, each time I got to the top I thought my lungs would explode - could not get air in fast enough. Slow jogged back down - repeated 10 times. Had nothing left for the 2 mile run - so did not do it.
Very productive workout.

Today will most likely be a rest day. Didn't run this a.m., and won't have time later today. Maybe a BW workout at home this evening.
I'm tired. 8)

Have you tried Low Fat Cheese? Has more Protein and more good fat per 100g, compared to Low Fat CC.

I have tried the LF string cheese. I just like cottage cheese better. 8)

Thursday's workout:

30 minutes of Bob Harper's legs and butt torture video.  Lots of squats and lunges with deadlifts and rows, pushups, mountain climbers, etc.

Rest day today, tomorrow is 8 or 9 mile long run.

Did not weigh myself this morning. I am suddenly terrified to get on that scale and not see a loss. It's not that I ate badly, I didn't. In my head I'm thinking I didn't run enough this week, or work out enough to see a loss. I have such small losses, that it takes SO much to lose a pound. I decided to wait til next Friday to weigh - the day before my race.
My pants are much looser, my hubby says I look skinny (he probably just wants....well you know  ) and i feel smaller - I'm just afraid to ruin it all if I get on the scale and it doesn't match what I see and feel.

Sometimes it is best mentally to just skip a week on the scale. I get discouraged when I see gains (or really small losses).

You just made me want to do my Bob Harper DVD again :D
