Hahaha boss man :) Yeah those cardio queens waste so MUCH time, I do HIIT 2 x a week only, compared to my weight days those are boring, but necessary.I bought my first " teaching " clothes today from my favorite overpriced yoga shop.I need to look professional hence no little tops & shorts ;) So I checked that the leggings were capable of a full squat, answered two sales girls questions of how do you get like that...WEIGHTS girls ! These low carbohydrate days also = low energy days...was close to the gym I am to be have my ICE done in, not enough energy to walk over, fuel tank was low, food time, have a good night/morning everyone :)

I am starting to wonder if there are cardio people and weight people just like there are morning people and night people

Might just be Edgar ;) I like the feeling cardio gives me, but not doing the actual staring off at the pool for 30 or so minutes..maybe if someone was drowning it would make the time go by faster ?..sorry, drowning & then a RESCUE.

Todays Workout

Pull ups
1 x 8/6/6
with
Squats
3 x 8 x 115 lb

Push ups
3 x 10
with
One arm row
3 x 8 x 40lb

Lateral raises
3 x 10 x 8 lb
with
Supported TBar rows
3 x 8 x 50 lb

Ball hamstring curls ( heels )
3 x 10
with
Ball roll outs
3 x 10

Planks
2 x 90 seconds

Side planks
2 x 1 minute

Lost another inch in the waist area & the " pooch " area, accounts for that 2.4 lb loss I suppose.I was all excited thinking I'd gained 1/2 of muscle in the leg, though it is the same size as last time I checked, ah well.I'm glad I'm now using 35 lb plates, means less running around the gym to load the bar, at least for a week or two, before I bump them up again ?..Going to teach this afternoon, then read my books & review my test for oral questions on sunday by evaluator  .Visited my doctor at the university, he prescribed some cream for that static shocky feeling upon descending the stairs, says its likely nerve pain, bone xray was normal, though if it persists he wants to do a bone density scan.Have a good weekend everyone :)

I hope so, I was hoping to practice my verbal skills over the weekend.Someone I work with set up an appointment for this afternoon & said " we will call when we are heading to the gym ", never happened, wasted a whole day for a thoughtless person, with nothing gained from it but stress.I've noticed that to me fitness is life & everything else revolves around it, for most people everything else comes first & if they have time or feel like it, they will do it & then wonder why they get NO results.I am always upbeat & positive but I've noticed you offer people a FREE service, they feel its not necessary to show up or be accountable, I hope this is not an indication of whats to come.I decided to bring my own son to the physical assessment, because I can't count on anyone else to commit themselves.I have one woman to practice with on sunday, if she doesn't cancel or not show up, can't reschedule the test, it will go forth as planned, if I fail I will redo it.

You'd think with free personal training avilable though people would show up. I know I would show up!

I wonder if personal trainers charge you a fee even if people don't show up in the real world if their working in their own private business. I don't know. I'm really excited for you Bonnie I think you will do great at your test and as a trainer!! Good luck!

I actually put an ad in craig's list, in the volunteer section, one reply thus far.I will only meet people from craigs list during the day hours at MY gym, due to the fact a real estate woman was killed from meeting people from craigs list.Until I am registered as a trainer I'm not sure I could charge anyone ?..Pass my test Monday & THEN I will be a certified weight trainer.I got some ladies through a woman who is in my gym, they are scheduled for tomorrow & Tuesday, if they are happy with their programs & service I'm sure they will spread the word.My instructor says meet with my classmates & train them for my twenty people, though I'd rather use real people. The worst case scenario is I'd be registering for October's personal training, not September. However I can still look for a job in a gym, with my weight trainer certification. Most people who work at my gym have only completed weight training, they don't go on to personal training.I think I'd like the one on one work a lot more. The rush is so I'm not working outdoors when this years rain hits which will be soon

Todays workout

HIIT elliptical resistance level 10
5 intervals 1min/2min split
3 mins downtime
20 mins SS

After lunch I'm going to wander over to the gym I will be doing my evaluation in on Monday, to check the layout of the floor. Then find a photocopier & copy, program forms, par-q forms, etc.As the time comes nearer to head out of town, I'm not sure I can keep my word about taking 6 days off from the gym, I might go crazy. What is the purpose of taking those days off, if you are not currently " over training ".

Heh, my mom usually has nothing to do up there, except drink coffee & smoke, neither of which I do, just trying to save my sanity.Though I am hoping to make programs for her & some friends, since I HAVE to take the time off, when I can least likely afford to spare any time.

If you are only taking one day off a week, it might be curbing any results your trying to achieve.Took all I had to learn to take 2 days off a week, not in a row of course.I don't know what I'll do just yet, if I'm paying that gym to take people in & train them, may as well do a workout myself afterwards, will keep my mood stable while at my mothers.Though I won't make her drive me to the next town, where the squat racks are, I' ll settle for the leg press ?..sigh, lol.If she took me sight seeing or such I'd not be as bored, maybe can squeeze some of that in too.I had my FIRST cheat meal since early last winter..I had roast chicken ( skinless of course ) carrots, YAM & CORN in the same meal, unheard of on a regular basis ;) THEN I had a mocha.I actually took my time between each part of the meal, that corn was sweet, hard to imagine sweet grain ? I marked it on my calendar, think I read on shapefit its okay to cheat maybe 2 x a month ? I used to cheat with deep fried indian food, but my system couldn't digest that anymore, heart palpitations & heart burn etc.I checked out the gym I'll be doing my evaluation in, was sweet, all life cycle equipment with burgundy covered seats, love that color, obviously that parks & recreation board has more money than ours...or its my part of the city, I'm in the rough & tumble end of town, but I love its character. Now its time to continue studying before I nod off from all those carbohydrates :) Cheers !

Body needs to rest, recommended between cardiovascular sessions is 24 hours, between weights is 48 - 72 hours,If you start over training you will notice symptoms such as fatigue, increased injuries, increased illness.. colds etc.

YEAH I'm such a rebel :) Though instead of nodding off I'm left with a ton of energy & sitting on my duff ?..Oh well.
