No question in my mind, R C's attitude and appearance, makes her a proper Lady through and though.

N.B. Bossman does not use breeding and monied backgrounds, to judge what constitutes a Lady. Wearing Gucci or Prada does not make females immune to being rude or bitchy.

As long as you have a nice personable personality, you could wear comfortable charity shop clothes, and that would satisfy Bossmans criteria .

Presumably with Curl Ups, you mean Bicep Curls, not those Hamstring Curls done lying down on a Machine.

As for T E's, they can be a bit of nuicance if you can't get the Arm up dead straight when weighted. I always favoured an Arm motion where the Forearm moved down the back, not across behind the Neck, becasue you might have to force the Arm past 180 degrees,to get the Dumbbell past the Neck, or tip the Neck forward, displacing the Cervical Vertebrae a bit, which might not be ideal, if you are putting a bit of stress on or around the area.

Then if you sit down to do them, use an inclinded bench. In the past when I did them, I occasionally used a flat one, and once or twice, nearly tippled backwards .

I'd be tempted to say 10 rep sets on those, not 15's, that's just underworking a little. Most novices wouldn't do 15's. Yes, very light to start, but around 8-10 reps. 15 will just promote more Lactic Acid.

I'd even be tempted to Switch Bicep Curls for E-Z bar and possibly Extensions for either Skullcrushers or Pressdowns.

That's just me though.

Thanks boss man!

I think I'm gonna take ur advice on the tricep ext. It was a pain to "finish" the last set. Everything else wasn't bad for me handle that was the hardest.

On another note for today....

I ventured out to try on jeans. Even tho I went down to a 14 a couple months ago it was in the process for trying on work pants. The store were I buy my clothes makes their jeans run a lil smaller so I didn't bother to try em. Well, my work pants are starting to get loose so I decided what the hell. So I went and...they fit! I then went to sears to see if they had any work out shorts that were form fitting. All they had were name brands in clerance for 25. Screw that. So I looked and looked found a pair! Off brand only 10! What's great about it is I can now wear regular length shorts since I lost some inches on my thighs. I always wore capris because of getting a rash. God it was a pain. They still rub but no where near as bad. When u have to put lotion on ur inner thighs before u put on shorts or a skirt u know u have a problem. Lol

Congrats on the size 14's!! And I'm like you girl, I hate to pay big prices for my clothes...I rarely ever buy anything that is not on the clearance rack. It gives me some small secret pleasure to pay bottom price for a name brand or semi name brand clothes. Once I bought a Nike one piece racing swimsuit - regular price was $45.00. I got it for $2.88 on the end of summer clearance rack!!! :D love it!

Today I used one of my free personal training sessions. Here's what's been added/changed.

(Heads up she didn't give me the exact names and the sheet is a lil hard to make out so im gonna wing it)

>Forearm overhead press 10lbs 15reps 3sets

>HS high rows
25lbs 15reps 3 sets

>teapots(yeap that's what she called it. Lol)
25lbs 15reps 3sets

>cybex lowback ext.
90lbs 15reps 3sets

>chest press
30lbs 15reps 3 sets

>squats
15reps 3sets

I have to say I'm looking forward to the teapots the most because that works on the damn spare tire. Lol. I really like my trainer and the other people that work at this gym. You can tell they really love their job and enjoy helping people. Unlike that other place I use to go. It makes the atmosphere far more pleasant and comfertable.

No its not a bar. Its hard to explain. Its a machine built for squats and it has diff. Weights you can adjust it to. I like it a lot because its not as harsh on the knees.

Personally I'd go for Chest Press before Rows. Means you don't work Chest Stabilisers before chest.

Some might argue that what you did is a pre-exhaust type thing, but I don't think it's necessary.

Thank god the holidays are over! I gained weight from all the damn christmas cookies! I went up to 218! We will see how I feel tomorrow morning after closing at work tonite. I have to manage my time. Shoot, if I'm awake enough I can go to the gym tonite so I still have time to do my earns before work. Ok, its settled then. lol. I have 12 weeks before my next assessment at the gym to see if I had any improvement. I want them to see I have. Let alone see that for myself.

I recently had a lot of changes in my personal life (moving out of a bad household that caused severe depression), now that the worst is behind me there should be nothing holding me back anymore. I hope to take this change and put it to good use. I also wont make weight loss a new years resolution, it should just take place regardless. That was my resolution for the past 9yrs. Its time to make a new one and just make my weight loss goal another mile stone to be crossed. When I was 18 my dream was to be that body type I always wanted by the time I was 21. I was so disappointed when my birthday had hit this year. Surprisingly enough this year did become apart of my dream just in another way. I started to loose the weight I wanted and went down 2 dress sizes. I may not be that girl with the rock hard abs and non-rubbing thighs but, that girl is coming. Its better to see the light at the end of the tunnel then to see the end of the tunnel becoming blocked by falling boulders.

I pray that with in these next 12 weeks I will see change. I don't care if its drastic as long as I see improvement I will be happy. During this weight loss journey I was so depressed by everything goin on in my life I didn't take the time to open my eyes and see that my hard work has been paying off. Now that my eyes are open and the tools have been set in front of me its time to use it.

No more being told by others how fat I am or when those girls tell me "all the guys I know say its better to be a big girl." Let me mind you the ones who say that to me don't say it to help lift my spirits they use it in high hopes I don't become a better person on the outside. These girls were always my enemies for yrs and always did what they could to me to put me down. I'm not loosing this weight to shove it in anyone's face, I'm doin it for my health. Its just a bonus that I get to shove it in their face. :D

Every one falls off the horse once in a while u just have to learn to jump right back on. In the past I would give up and let my self get so bad it only made me more depressed and then would do a crash diet to get to a certain weight. It was a constant roller coaster. This time I'm jumpin on that horse before that coaster has a chance to take off. I'm slowing breaking my old habits. It takes time but at least I'm chipping away at it.

I want to work hard as ever now because my boyfriends parents were talking about goin to the Bahamas for their last family vacation in a long time. If I want to feel comfortable enough to go with them I need to loose some more weight (not to mention save money. lol). I know I wont have a beach body in a few months time but that don't mean loosing another dress wont help. Shit to be in a 12 would make me feel so good Id strut my curves I don't care. lol

I think alot of us have ridden that same roller coaster, and I agree with you, it's time to get off that ride and get on with healthy eating and weight loss. And I like what you say about not making another resolution to lose weight, it should be take place anyway - great stuff right there.

I know you will. I hope to as well, maybe we can help each other, with support and encouragement along the way. Let's vow to make these next 12 weeks a positive time, full of hard work, healthy eating and set a goal...12 lbs. in 12 weeks, or something like that. I'd be thrilled to lose 12 lbs.!! Oh, and congrats to getting down 2 dress sizes - that's awesome! :D

Well one thing I can say is out of politeness and truth, is that you despite the size right now, are a really beautiful young Lady. You have shown some of that to us, every time you've come here. Your attitude is wonderful and you have a wonderful way with people.

To begin to make the change you want for yourself, you need that. To care for others, shows an ability to care for yourself. You should see how much you're liked and cared about and how much your attitude reflects on others.

When you use your intelligence to see what you are emotionally capable of, you will see how you can apply that to yourself and become ene more beautiful than you dared to dream.

I hope that no matter what happens you achieve your goals. I hope that you wil some day soon discover a lot more warmth, successs, sunshine, rainbows and happiness in your life. You have shown humility, warmth and great Heart to people like me, so you deserve to be rewarded for it.

You can certainly depend on Shapefit to be here for you. Most of the effort MUST be yours, it can't be anyone elses, but that extra 1% that we can provide will always be here for you.

You have one of those faces that shows people what you are like on the inside and when you finally reach your target, you are going to shine like a massive sunbeam for everyone to see.

Forget the losers that wish you wrong in life, or hope you just become emotionally withered, miserable and feel like a nothing. You will NEVER be anything like that nor have you ever been. You have ALWAYS had human worth and value, and your actions if you stick to them, will only serve to increase that massively, because you deserve to feel like a billion dollars, instead of a thousand dollars.

You deserve to feel special and truly beautiful and why shouldn't you. It's nobody elses business to ruin your future happiness, which you deserve and CAN earn and I believe WILL earn.

Your attitude to yourself, by doing this for you NOW, not in a few days, is superb. Procrastination kills physical wants. Pro-activeness promotes physical wants.

I have never lost belief in you, that somehow, you would make your situation better, work hared and acheive more beautiful and long-lasting results.

If you keep believing in yourself, we will keep believing in you more than 100%, because you are one of us and we think a lot of you.

So keep your chin up and don't let anyone or anything get you down. you CAN do this and you deserve the support, encouragement, empathy and understanding we can give you. Please do come see us as much as you feel able.

The more you let us know how you're doing, the more we can be there for you and for people like you, that's is something we truly enjoy and want to do.

I'm sure you can do what you want to do. GOOD LUCK amnd remember your own self worth sometimes. You eally are a great person with a lovely warm Heart and you deserve to be healthy, happy and fufilled in life, there's no doubt of that.

:) :).

You know what, that sounds great! I would love to have a work out partner. Id love to try the pound per week thing. Is there any way you would like to structure this? I've never done anything like this before. Maybe give eachother a satus at the end of each week?
