so i didnt have time to bring lunch to work since i lost track of time getting ready. i did how ever have a fiber one bar, and muscle milk. a co-worker went out to olgas kitchen to get us food. i ordered lamp on peta bread with tomato and a side of coleslaw. it was yummy. i didnt cave in buying any candy bars or pop. i did however get an energy drink but i found one with only 3grams of sugar. the rest of vitamins. its kinda like a 5hr. the whole can was only 20cal. not bad. if i wasnt trying to watch what i was buying i would of bought a rockstar which is loaded with crap! all i can say is i am gonna sleep well tonite. work at least went by fast for me. just got home and not too happy about what i came home to. not gonna get into details but just added stress. i cant wait until i can move out. i have no idea as to when that will be but god i sure hope it will be next year.

thank you boss man!

so last nite for dinner my bfs mom made corned beef and potatos. well i watched my portions and had the corned beef but had an apple instead of the potatos. i ate good yesterday. :) very happy with the results and the decisions im making. i do have to say tho- yesterday at work was really really really hard to not buy junk food at work. even thought i brought the fruit i didnt have anything else to help keep me full. lucky enough i found a co-worker who was going out to get food. thank god. lol it just shows how important it is for me to take the time to make a lunch for work everyday. leas son learned! haven't decided yet what i will be bringing to work tonite but i know i will make sure to pack it.

Yeah... it's always good to make an effort to pack up your food.
Monday always mess me up because I get so busy on the weekend.
However, I do try to make the best choice when I really don't have time to pack my food.
Like wheat bread or brown rice, grilled chicken or steam fish and veggie..
Keep it up girl... protioning yourself is good. Make sure to drink tons of water.

my food intake today was the usual for breakfast, then a pbj on whole wheat bread. for dinner i had (i caved) two slices of pizza, healthy choice soup and an apple. i did however resist he last slice sitting in the box. i threw it away because i got ticked at how it was teasing me every time i walked by it at work. then when i got home i noticed my bfs mom made rolls. let me mind u that when she does this i would eat 3 or more at a time. today i ignored it. im not hungry and i dont need that before i go to bed tonite. it will be there in the am it can wait. that was not easy. the more u realize what u did the more u see how food was an addiction. that most of the time i just ate to take up time. not because i was hungry but because i felt i had to. its hard to explain. it wasn't just an emotion thing. its weird.

i decided to lower my calorie intake this morning. instead of eating my eggs with the bagel (340 cal for the bagel) i decided to use a tortilla wrap which is only 130calories! i'll still have a bagel on occasions but this will help cut down the carbs. i just dont like my eggs plain. i dont want to cook bacon either bc too much of that is bad for you. i dont have many options in the house so i have to be creative with what we have.

also id like to say that on a family members bday when we had cake and ice cream a few days ago, i only ate a small amount of it on the day we celebrated. even tho- the cake is always in my face in the kitchen i haven't had another serving! i feel really good about myself! also i still haven't bought any junk from work (just had those 2 slices of pizza which i must say i feel good that i didnt eat all of it. i cut back. before i use to eat 4 slices. so still an accomplishment there as well). i also haven't bought any shity energy drinks. when it comes to eating i have been making myself wait to eat until im actually hungry. crazy concept right? lol! i'm trying to break the habit of eating when bored and munching all the time at work. at work i use to buy candy bars, chips, pizza rolls, and energy drinks. another habit im breaking is stuffing myself! i eat slower and once i realize im full i stop. i wont over eat to where i feel sick! the more you pay attention to what u are eating the more u realize how poor your choices were and why the hell u decided to go that route in the first place! i'm going to try to force myself to jog this morning. im gonna give myself a couple more hours to wake up tho otherwise it will just quickly turn into a walk.

i have 3 routes i can take for my jog. each one is panned out to how i feel that day and if i work that day. today is the "around the block" day. two laps is just over a mile. its 1.20mile. thank you google maps! lol. i like to go at nite more so than day bc you cant really see the distance it doest seem intimidating. another little mind trick. if i take the route during the day i feel like i wanna stop i just say to myself "you have already done this and made it through once. you can and will do it again!" i will keep repeating that as much as i have to until i finish or kick it out of my mind.

most certainly its a process. to be truthful only this site, and 3 co-workers actually know about this attempt to weight loss. i feel less pressured that way. id rather just have the family members ask me "have u lost weight" because they see a difference then ask "hows the diet going" when ur still in ur up and down phase. even my bf doesnt know. lol i cant wait to reach the first goal of mine which is to fit comfortably in my work pants! lol i dont know how many pounds it will take to get there. my guess is at the weight of 225. thats 10 pounds from now. at least i can say i lost 4 already. just 10 more to go for that goal. i maybe stressed out because of the things i cant control at work or what happens at home or the unexpected expense but i can say that i am finally controlling my body! this is the one thing can turn a shity day into a good one when thinking how much i am accomplishing the hardest task i had my whole life!

thank you! i have a rush now because of that jog! lol. i feel really good now about myself! i keep thinking of when i finally reach my goal that i will get a professional photo shoot! it just brings a smile to my face! i hope i reach this months goal by loosing 10lbs. for the longest time i wouldnt write down my weight loss on my graph in my room because i figured i would just gain it back bc of past mistakes. on the 6th when i started this i wrote on it! i didnt care if it was a 10lbs weight gain since then, because by the end of this month it will go down. regardless by how much it goes down it will! I have to face it. because im forcing my self to and not run away from it...its making me stay on track. it feels fantastic! i love it!

Sounds like you are feeling really good! Just take it a day at a time, it's nice to have a graph showing your weight loss. I have something like that too. :)

Christina, I am so, so proud of you misses.

i admire your new found attitude to things you now plagued your weight and your mindset for so long. You listed quite a few small things that you are trying to control, instead of thme controlling you, but little things add up to a big thing.

As for the jogging, I think that was AWESOME, that you knew you were not going to cause yourself a massive problem by continuing to jog. Some people would have gone home after falling, felt stupid for trying to run with the bruise and given up, claiming they were not meant to be joggers.

Alternatively some people could have used the original bruise as an excuse not to run.

I know that with these admissions of change on quite a few things, comes the hard slog for you, to prove you are not a on hit wonder that said you would jog, that said you would ignore certain foods etc, then started to flake a few times and looked sporadic.

I know this won't be easy for you, because there are so many permutations. Ignoring certain things is one thing, but at what point do your mind and emotions betray you, if you have a shock to the system, or a day that just starts off on the wrong foot and throws you out of kilter?

If you're able to come here in 2 weeks from now and say you stayed true to everything you said, that really will be an achievement and I actually believe you are and always have been capable of that, so it's a question of you believing you are capable ond being as true to your words as you appear.

GOOD LUCK and keep on smiling. Every bit of positivity is a plus point, so store it up and keep it as a form of fuel for your mind, to keep you strong.

The outcome you want is yours to have and to obtain, it's a question of can you recognise strongly enough the steps you need to take, to be able stick to them like glue?

Chin up keep pushig and keep believing Christina. You are such a lovely and warm-hearted young Lady and I want you to succeed for YOU, because I think you DO have the potential to be AWESOME.
