Thanks! 8)

I felt really good on today's run. The nagging little injuries are slowly going away. I was confident enough to push myself a little today without fearing hurting myself further. I had thought we would be doing 6 miles today, but it was another 5 miler. I felt really strong at the end and I think if there was another mile to go I could have picked it up more. :D

I ran 7 miles in wind and snow today. I think it was the most exhausting I have ever done. The last 3 1/2 miles was into a head wind. My Garmin one again screwed up so no readout. I lost 3 lbs this week putting me at 203 now.

Wow, great job on the weight loss, Edgar :D I admire you for running in this weather - I know I couldn't do it. They must really clear snow quickly by you! There is really nowhere to run around here!

Sometimes the big picture can be overshadowed by the little things. Just remember what you have accomplished, you are amazing Edgar!!! Don't forget to look at the big picture and let the little things go...

Thanks everyone, my complaints were really tongue in cheek. I am proud of myself. Yesterday was not fun. I had a colonoscopy today which was really not that bad, but prepping for it yesterday was not fun. There was nothing wrong with me except I am over fifty and had dodged it the past 6 years.

I am going to a dinner with the running club tonight and I plan to cheat a little. But, hey, I did not get to eat at all yesterday.

I was in for a surprise when I stepped on the scale today. I have back to back 3 lb loss weeks. I tipped the scale at 200 lbs on the nose. I did an eight mile run this morning. I am planning to push my Sunday runs out to 10 miles in a couple weeks. I am getting used to the 8 mile distance. :D

Thanks everyone. Its going to be a 22 mile week after I do 5 miles tomorrow morning. I did a strong 7 miles last night. I am starting to forget about the watch lately and just enjoy my runs. I have a party to go to tomorrow so I don't have an excuse to get blue this year.

Here's a cool movie about marathoning on Hulu. It features my lakefront running path. I even know a couple people who appear in the movie, although not any of the major people featured. But, one of the guys I ran with last night is named in the credits.

That's cool, but I got another Christmas present today. :D :D Because I am going to a Christmas party tonight and know I am going to overindulge in the eating department today I weighed myself today instead of Sunday. Too my surprise I had another 3 lb loss dropping me under the 200 mark down to 197. Better yet I have lost over 100 pounds!!!!!! 8) 8) 8)

I ran 5 miles this morning at a 13:20 pace. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
