The next one I am planning is a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning - there is another Turkey Trot the weekend before but I will be in Florida then. The one on T-Day is actually a 5 miler, not a 5K, so it will help to keep me motivated while I am on vacation! Last time I went was right after I joined this site and I ran and swam laps every day I was there - and we are at the same resort so I know the facilities already

Good luck this weekend Joc! If there is rain, I hope it washes away your fears, if there is wind, I hope it's at your back for the last mile, and if there are cameras I hope you save your best smile for the finish line!!![]()
You got this!
We just got our final reminder e-mail and as of now it is still on and they will only cancel if it is thundering and lightning. I have never run in the rain though, so that concerns me, but I will do it if I have to. Maybe it will make me run faster
Cameras?!?!?! Now I have to worry about cameras
