The routine I am doing has both dips and chinups in it. I know that these are better than other exercises for the same muscles because of the core and stabilizers. Right now I am at 308lbs and cannot do either one. The gym I go to does not have a machine that helps you with these so my question is do I use a machine to do similar exercises or should I set up a bench or cardio steps so I can assist myself with my legs and do the actual exercise? Thanks
