I have been doing leg exercise for 15 minutes daily
But i heard that leg muscels need to rest for 48 hours .. so is that true ? And giving the fact that i do only 15 minutes of leg exercise .. does that make it ok to exercise daily ?

While all muscles need to rest, you may not need to rest for 48hrs after every workout. If you are lifting extremely heavy and focusing solely on legs during your workout, then yes you should allow those muscles to rest. If you are simply using body weight, you don't need to rest (unless you are extremely sore). Your lower body can handle so much more weight than you think so using your body weight won't put too much pressure on those muscles. It better to continue moving after a workout so your muscles don't get too tight (which will make you more sore). A brisk walk and nice stretching is great the day after an intense workout. If you feel your legs need a rest, you can still workout your upper body.
