Weighed in again this morning, I've lost more weight! I'm done to 241.8 and at a total loss of 8.2 pounds! Go me! In other news, I'm pretty screwed financially right now and I'm trying my hardest to get put on the schedule here at my home Old Navy, but I haven't gotten any word from the shop manager here and I'm panicking a little bit, because of crazy charges and mistakes in my phone bill from when I was in the UK, I have a $1000 phone bill. I don't know how I'm going to cover this...

I didn't make the mistakes, my mobile phone company did.

I have no clue what to do with myself as far as workouts here at home go.... This is a big problem, because I want to workout, I'm just incredibly bored with what I "normally" do. It's at a point where it's either too hard or too easy and I'm not sure what to do. Help?? Suggestions?? Preferably things that require no gym, no equipment, and not going out of doors considering we haven't had a single day under 86F (30c) all summer long. Days are more routinely around 95F (35c)

Went for a jog this morning. Yup, a jog, me. How crazy. After I warmed up, I jogged once around the perimeter of my neighbourhood which is approximately a mile (1.0156 miles to be exact) and although I couldn't jog the whole thing, I jogged .67 miles, so I could jog about 2/3 of it. Albeit I couldn't do that all at once, it seems my limit is somewhere like a quarter mile at the start and then about an eighth of a mile each time after that before my legs got too shaky and weak feeling for me to keep going. I'm hoping that before I head back for school in exactly a month, that maybe I'll be able to get to the half-mile mark without having to stop. It's kind of a short time period, but I would be so stoked if I could do it. I really hate setting goals, so I'm going to call this an experiment. I feel like I always fail at goals, so I don't set them.

It's been a few days, I weighed myself and I'm up a tiny bit to 242.7 But I'll get this stuff down. I've been struggling a lot with sleep lately and so I just haven't had the energy to be working out.

If I do sleep, I wake up a lot (around every 45 minutes or so), or I have tons of nightmares (which make me wake up a lot), I don't think I've gotten more than three hours of solid sleep at a time since I got home from the UK.

The nightmares have gotten very slightly less frequent and I've been starting to get some better quality sleep, however, I've been so tired and depressed lately that I haven't been working out much and I've been eating terribly. I gained about 2 pounds, so it's not a big deal right now, but I need to fix it soon. Today I'm attempting to have the horrid birth control talk with my mother. I have always been taught to NEVER EVER EVER talk about sex or anything like that. And even though I don't want to get on a method to have sex, it's still incredibly awkward. My mother has never ever ever talked to me about anything regarding to bodily development, sex, or contraception or anything like that. Freaking out a little.

I've also noticed that my sweet tooth has been running a little rampant lately...

I'm sure you'll get the issues with the 2lbs of weight sorted out and be back on track. Keep believing, chin up and GOOD LUCK. I know in time you will get this stuff to work out for you, because if I didn't, I wouldn't bother responding to you like I do and have before and I am certain at some point in the future, you will get more of the progress you want and things will start to seem better for you physically :).

As for the "talk" with your Mother, forgive me if I am prying without a right to do so, but what has prompted this, or why do you feel this must now happen?

Thanks, Boss, I'll get it all sorted. My knee has been acting up a lot too, so I don't want to injure it more so I've been babying it maybe a little too much. I don't know though. I'll find something that works for me. And I've got lots of plans for when I'm back at Uni.

As for the talk with my mum. First off, let me say it went off without a hitch and I brought it up at an appointment for a vaccine I had today and will be seeing my primary care doctor about it Thursday. As for what prompted it: I have never had regular periods, and when I do get them, I have nearly debilitating cramps, severe fatigue, very irritable and I get hormonal skin problems. I honestly have just gotten very sick of my body being so miserably unpredictable. Haha. Also, I figure since as of August first, here in the states, birth control is supposed to be completely covered by insurance, meaning no co-pays and whatnot which makes it affordable for me. If you don't mind my asking, what made you ask, Boss??

Feel free to ask, it's fine :). I was just asking in order to try and understand the situation a little better. If I understand better, then I can make sure I try not to respond to anything, with a big old foot in my mouth in the future and because I believe understanding peoples situations, helps me become better able, to try to help and support someone like you.

Hopefully that all makes sense :).

I'm glad things worked out for you and I'm sure the emotional niggles and the minor knee issue(s) you are going through right now, will get better. I am sure that on the whole you are slowly but surely making positive change in your emotional and physical outlook, so chin up, be strong and keep believing, because i'm proud of you and I want you to continue to believe in yourself and value yourself as much as you have a right to and deserve to :)
