"valerie bertinelli diet" Jenny Craig

Postby fruitlups62 » Wed Jul 29, 2009 2:18 am

I am part of a weight loss study from our University. I was put on the Jenny Craig at home Progam which began Feb. 2008 and last through Feb. 2010. I started off excited and lost 17lbs in the first 3 months! I have since flucuated, I think because Im bored now with the food. Ive also incorporated meals on my own, in which on get counsel on from my own personal consultant. I just cant seem to get my mind to stick to this thing. It has been hard, especially when I have to cook for my family. I know its all in my head, because I DO want to lose weight, and I started off at 216lbs and now weigh 201. I actually got down to 195 but now slowly going back up! I need help. I am trying hard, start off doing good during the day, then at night its like I raid the refrigerator. anyway, I am mostly here for the support. I really need it. thanks.

Hi and welcome to the site!

People in here are very supportive and have GREAT advice!

Question: Are you still doing the Jenny Craig program? If you are what are you eating? And what time are you eating? How many calories do you intake a day? Do you exercise?

If you eat the right food and the right amount… You will lose weight and you will NOT raid your poor refrigerator! :P And if you’re hungry… it’s ok to snack at night… have some protein... like scramble egg whites, or turkey deli or protein shake or reduce fat free string cheese… something along that line.

You will find lots of support here! Also, you could literally spend a week reading old posts and you will start to see a theme - eat right and build muscle, thats the key. There is lots of good stuff here in addition to support.

My experience with weight loss programs has been simple - the less you pay, the better they work. In other words, the information to do it is free, but people in general will pay money to anyone that ses they can make it easy for them. THINK ABOUT IT. If JC worked, why are we still fat?

If I were a betting man, I'd wager that Valerie, who is hot, did not get into that shape from JC, perhaps she may have read some posts on this site. What about Kristi? Maybe if she had build muscle instead of cannibalizing it with JC, she would not have gained back all the weight she lost?

I am truly lucky because my family has gotten 100% behind me and we eat the same things, there is no reason whatsoever food that will assist fat loss can't be eaten by everyone in the house. None!

As far as raiding the fridge at night, you must conquer this demon. You absolutely must. Following a proper eating plan will go along way toward beating this.

If you only read one more thing here, read this sticky "Read before posting" Seriously, all the information you need is there. THe only thing that is not there is you making a decision to do it. You.
