Hehehe… I’m around. Just haven’t been updating my journal. Due to some personal things… I don’t really have time to be strict with my diet and exercise until things cool down. However, I do try to keep a clean diet with whatever situation I’m in. With all the Christmas parties been going on at work, I’ve been eating A LOT of veggies and meat to keep my tummy full. Which is a good thing because I don’t have much room for sweets. :P

But I’ll be stopping by here and there and post comments.

Congratulations on the wedding in 2012 by the way! Very exciting. I really like the wedding shows on tv, like the Wedding planner, (not bridezillas) it looks like so much fun to plan!

Awwww Thank You!

After a long journey of ups and downs I realized I’m ready and he is the one!
The one who can take care of me when I’m stress, down, depress, or very bitchy and he still tells me how beautiful I am even if I gain lots of weight and get lots of pimple. So, I’m happy I can have a partner that lend me a shoulder when I’m need it and carry me up when I’m about to fall. I’m grateful that I can share my sadness and happiness with my him. Most of all, I’m thankful that he is supportive of what I do, except for diet pills. :P

By the way, I’m not the one that will be planning that wedding… The Groom will plan it with my bridesmaids. :P All I need to do is go to my dress fitting… hehehe…. Actually, I’m the finance person and I will approve of the spending.

Sounds like a great guy! You should help do the planning too Nokie! It looks like so much fun. The dress and the cake design are the most fun things I think to plan and where you are going to have it! The expense part not so much fun! But your an accountant what can you say.

That's what is all about Nokie. I am glad you have found "the one". Marriage is a beautiful thing when it is shared by two people who respect, admire, love and support the other, even (like you said) when we are stressed, are having a bad hair day, when we are sick, and when we are goofy and they still laugh at our jokes! A partner in life, through thick and thin, someone who has your back, who supports you, even if they don't always understand what it is, or why it is you do what you do. :D
I am so happy for you girl!! And he is one lucky man! :D

If it was up to me to plan the wedding, I would just go to City Hall, sign the paper and have dinner with family and close friends. Then hop on the plan and travel to Europe and Asia for our honeymoon!!!

But since I’m a very “understanding” person :P I’m willing to compromise as he wants this “fantasy” wedding that’s totally out of our budget  …. So, we will work together and have a decent wedding. Of course I give my opinions on things like, the colors and what kind of cakes and etc… but having to plan stuff... I’ll leave it to him as long as he reports the $$$ to mama!!!

I just read your post about the Opera - I'm with you - and I loved Wicked!!!! We go to New York every year and see something on Broadway, this year it was Wicked...saw South Pacific last year...there is no place like NYC- really great! But what a sweet guy - he's a keeper.

Where's your posts? No more food journal? I promise to start reading more....I have to stop in with this race to 160 going on! ;)

Hope all is well with you Nokie! I know you work too hard and have been known to be too hard on yourself - and you take care of EVERYONE! You are truly a wonderful caring person who I am honored to have met :)

Hello, how are you all doing?

I am debating whether I should start writing my diet and workout again… or just post questions here and there. Writing it down does help but same time… I can get lazy.

My weight did go up a bit but the inches are getting smaller… muscle you think?

I need help to get in better shape than ever. Why? … I have a wedding dress to look good in… LOL… Every morning, I have a picture of a random girl wearing a random wedding dress (Because I dunno what dress I want yet) … I post it by my alarm and every time I snooze @ 5AM ... I see that pix… BAM I’m up doing some workout.

My main problem and have always been my diet…. Sigh… I really try to have self control but every time I see rice… I want those damn simple carbs!!!

I had a bad few weeks with my diet, I will not lie… After losing my father-in-law to be to cancer… We just had a feast of junk food while dealing with the funeral and all. Now thinking back… ugh… I feel disgusted and sluggish… I really have to give myself a reality check here and there and remember I can avoid being ill if I take better care of myself now…

So, can say… I’m back? I really need help with my short term goal for the wedding.
Same time keeping up with my long term goal…. Being healthy... :D

So glad to see you again Nokie! I've been missing in action myself...sooo, maybe we can both get off our "lazy" butts - LOL and post once in awhile. I'd so much like to help you get ready for the big day!
Sorry about your father in law (to be) :( Certainly isn't easy to think about yourself during times of sadness and stress........

I too have problem with my food and most recently exercising - but I'm moving forward, not looking back and dealing with "life" stuff as I go. I'll be here for you! I know lots of others will be too!

Did you see that Cassie got married? Woo Hoo!!
