Hi, Everyone!!! Well, no I wasn't in Fla all that time. I wish! haha. We had a fantastic time!!! Key West was beautiful and FANTASTIC! We did sooo much. Snorkeled on a coral reef, rented a wave runner, drank, ate and BEACHED!!! Got back last Thurs and went right into the holiday weekend and beached some more right here on the lovely Jersey shore! We are lucky enough to live only 20 minutes from the beach. :D Resumed work and workouts on Wed. Man, that was tough!! Soooo, while I was away and some time even before I was not really paying attention to diet much. I just got so burnt-out on the food. However, when I got home and back to the gym I was surprised to see I only gained about 2 lbs on the scale!!! :D I am trying to regain control and doing ok although it's tough and cravings are brutal. Yeah, I give in sometimes....uuugh! Today I did one hour ellip cardio. So now that my hubby is back I have bumped up my hours at work. Yeah, gonna be tough with the workouts but I have to do it. No more lazy mornings on ShapeFit when the kids are off to school. I will try to post in the evening. Well, I hope you are all well, having fun and progressing in your workouts!!!

Good evening!!! Monday...was a long one. Started out with a training session in which we did some weights combos, push-up variations and these crazy sit-ups on the incline bench where my trainer took a resistance band, wrapped it around me under my arms and held it behind me while I did my sit-ups. Think giddy-up! LOL Was very tough!! Then we did kickboxing and I went to work, came home, made dinner and did dishes. Just now sitting down and I am beat tired!!! Today I did pretty good with my food:

4:45 a.m.-protein shake w/water
5:00 a.m.-workout and kickboxing w/trainer
6:15 a.m.-protein shake w/water
7:30 a.m.-omelette
blueberries
10:45 a.m.-2 lf string cheese
1 oz peanuts
1:30 p.m.-1 cup chic broth
steamed shrimp
green beans
4:45 p.m.-2 hardboiled eggs
grape tomatoes
7:30 p.m.-grilled salmon
brussels sprouts
baked beans (I know I didn't need these but the kids had them and they looked soooo good!)
will have a snack before bed.

Tomorrow will be another long day.....cardio first thing then work. So what are you all up to?? Seems like it's been a bit quiet around here. I hope you are all enjoying good weather and having fun!!! :D

Hi, everyone.....thanks, Joc! I love palm trees!!! Wish I were under one right NOW! Les, I hope and pray your prediction does not come true. Seeing it for the first time was amazing and I can't wait to get back and see it again.

Sooo, today was pretty good. Had a good training session this morning. We did some combo exercises and treadmill intervals. Food was good too. Pretty much the same as last time I posted....yawn! LOL Gosh, I wish I had something interesting to say but I don't! Writer's block sucks!! LOL Well, I hope you all had a great day! :D

Good morning, friends! This morning was 45 mins ellip cardio. I am off work but not feeling so good today. :( My stomach feels queasy and I feel chills. I can't remember the last time I was sick in any way. I think it was about 3 years ago so this is rare for me!! Hopefully it will pass soon. So far today I had a protein smoothie. Sooo, my full-time work schedule is kicking my butt!!! When I get home at night I can barely make dinner and do the dishes I am so tired. Today I have lots to do. Laundry, cleaning, food shopping etc. I guess I better get off this darn computer and get going, huh? I can do this, right?? Show me some love!

Thank you, Jocelyn, I am sorry if I sound whiney!! It's just so hard to balance everything. A big family, house, work, workouts. Sometimes I wonder if there is enough of me to go around!

No need to apologize, you certainly didn't sound whiney! And if you want to whine, go right on ahead, you deserve it  You have a lot going on and it takes a lot out of a person, especially when you are sick. Don't forget to take care of yourself, too! If you need to rest don't feel bad, you will be better off for it.

Yep...post vacation blues!!! :( I am feeling better. After I ran my errands I rested, got up, ate some whole grain crackers and was feeling better. I skipped lunch but had grilled steak, mushrooms and green beans for dinner. Tomorrow will be a 5 a.m. training session then work but it's TGIF!!!!!!!!! :D Have a great nite, everyone!

Hey girl! Welcome back. You look AWESOME. I hope you feel better. The blues? I really think so. It happens to me everytime I visit Orlando, specially if its winter here in Jersey. But, weather here is good right now. I'm glad you had a nice vacation. That's what I call a nice reward. You deserved it. :D
