Awwwww....Les, thanks, thats very sweet. People are always saying they look just like there Dad...... :D lol........Sandi, they are 11,7, and 6...yup all boys, all creative, and unique in there own ways. Very expressive, and busy, always building, and messing and like its rained two days straight right, and as soon as they get off the bus, they will be outside in the puddles knee deep, and in the rain. My Mom, who lives next door will be out there with them taking pics, knee-deep herself. Yuh, I guess we're all nuts, in out own way, but 3 is enuf...... :)

Ok, I just went and checked the lil critter out and yes, Les he is the CUTEST!!!!!!! He is surely following his father's footsteps! Oh, Iron since I was there I checked your pics again and what a huge change you have made to yourself! Congrats on your progress and your continued success. Lookin gooooooooood! Lynne, thank you for the well wishes for my sis. You are so sweet! I can't help but think...man, she's gonna be huuuge!!! Yes, everyone has different goals and desires. That is why I don't bore people in the real world with my fitness talk. Not everyone gives a darn about being fit. My older sis even went so far as to say my fitness goals are "superficial"! HA! The looks are only the icing on the cake (sorry..I said CAKE  ). Yes, it will be nice to have people admire my awesome abs this summer  but the health benefits are AMAZING!!!! Soooo, no meds for me in the future so save $$ on health costs also. Hmmmm, sounds like a win/win situation to me, kids! Iron, three boys!! Hope you are saving for the food bill when they get older. I have three boys here also who loooooove to eat and of course I have to buy my healthy Sandi food so it is quite an expense. Well, speaking of food have to get my next meal. Chow!

Yeah, the health benefits are quite astounding!! Is soooo awesome not to feel winded all the time. Of course we are all fixated to some extent on the jean size or the scale since we all want to LOOK great as well as feel great! Just keep stepping things up. Maybe eventually you will run that marathon!!!!! :D

Thanks a ton.....we do have lots of fun. They were in the gym with me tonite, as usual, keeping me entertained....they always seem to have question's right when I'm in the middle of my set....kind of cracks me up. Yuh, the food thing, is going to be crazy at some point. Right now they are not too bad, but I know the day is coming. Especially, as you say, the healthier the food the more it seems to cost. Thanks for the comments on my pics, it just rocks to make progress........as you know

Heyyy, thanks for the bump! I really needed that. Yeah, I know my journal has been collecting dust over here. Spring break is upon us so this week I was the Easter bunny, a chauffer, cook and social coordinator for the kids. Can't wait till Monday!!!! :D Sooo,it was a nice holiday. I took Sunday and Monday off from the gym and pretty much my diet too. I indulged in all of the treats the Easter bunny brought and some yummy lasagna my mother-in-law made!!!! Was so good but afterwards I felt so sluggish because I am not used to eating these foods and so much at one time. Was glad to get back yesterday. Did one hour elliptical steady cardio. Oh, I got weighed and measured on Friday. My bodyfat went down a bit to 30% and my muscle mass was up some so still headed in the right direction. My goal is 25% for now. How many lbs of fat would I have to lose to get there?? Me really bad at math! This is what I did today:

4:45 a.m.: protein shake w/water.

5:00 a.m.: 45 min full body workout with kettlebells/trainer. Ouch, I am sooooo sore!!

6:15 p.m.:protein shake w/water..post-workout.

7:30 a.m.: bfast-mushroom omelette
oatmeal

10:30 a.m.:2 lf string cheese
1 oz peanuts

1:15 p.m.: lunch-grilled chicken
broccoli

4:30 p.m.: 1 can tuna /onion
celery sticks w/nat pb

7:45 p.m. dinner-grilled salmon
brussels sprouts.

So, I know my meals are not spaced exactly right but I was working today and grabbed my snacks in between patients at the office. I hope everyone is enjoying some nice weather like we have here in Jersey. 90 degress today!!! Tomorrow another nice one then back to more seasonable temps on Fri..boooooo! :( Was nice to get a taste of summer, though! I did a kettlebell workout with my trainer this morning. WOW, that was hard and i am so sore I can hardly get off the couch! Any of you guys ever use them?? Very interesting workout. Well, gonna drink a protein shake and get to bed. Nite, all!!!! :)

Good to hear form ya.....did you really write that at 1:33am? Maybe the clocks are flewy. Nice job on the kettlebells, I've never done them, but have seen videos.....looks interesting. My ruff Math skills say 5.45lbs. of fat to be at 25% if your at 109lbs. and 30% right now. Wow that would put you down around 103ish, that sounds tiny. Sounds like a fun Easter, and your back on track exercising so that cool...keep it up. Summers coming...oh and 90 degrees  .....nice. We were close to 80 and it was heavenly....more, more, send more. Have a healthy, active day, your doing great.......

haha, noooo I did not post at 1:33 a.m.!! Maybe that clock is someone else's time not ours. Another fine day here. I am just hanging around waiting for my oldest to get done lacrosse practice, tho. Arrrrrr! Soooo happy they go back to school on Monday. Yeah, I know that is not nice! Thanks for doing my "math". Well, if I gain some muscle then I will weigh more. The thing is I may have to concentrate more on muscle building then fat loss and I am not thinking I want to do that so close to summer. I would gain some fat and of course it would go straight to my belly! I may try it after summer, tho. I really would like some more defined shoulders. Having a bit of a hard time building them up. UUUGH! I looove shoulders! So far today I did one hr steady ellip. Gonna try and get back tonite and do recumbent bike for something a lil different. Already doing ellip steady and treadmill intervals so this will be new. Besides, when my hubby gets back from school we are taking up mountain biking! Gotta build up my riding skills. The kids really love it too!!! I am so sore from my kettlebell workout yesterday I could hardly sleep last nite and getting around today is a bit of a struggle. I need protein!!!! Is amazing how the body reacts to something different. Another kettlebell workout tomorrow morning. Gotta get my recovery sleep tonite. I hope everyone's workouts are going well. Never quit!!!!

too funny, I read the time, and was like..... Glad to hear the clock was wrong, or diffrent time zone. I read your initial entry about the weight you wanted to be at, just odd thinking about someone weighing under 100 lbs., though your BMI seems to allow it, and still keep you in a healthy category. BMI has limited value, but I think it may be a good tool to help knowing if your "underweight". I'd say your doing great, and busy as ever...mountain biking...cool. Is he thinking off road, or on road?

Yeah, I was always a little girl. I am really at this point concentrating on the bodyfat %. If that number is at the point I want it then who cares what i weigh in at!! I never want to get below 100, tho. Not good!! Sooo, we are going to be doing trail riding. Gonna be rough and tough but I can handle it. He is already doing some riding down in Florida and has gotten down to 180 lbs from 210 lbs!! That is some maddd cardio!! I think I will have to invest in some padding, tho. It can be dangerous.

Wow....he really dumped some weight fast 'eh? Yuh...off roading could get a lil rough, yuh padding for sure, elbows, knees, head, if you happen to come off it, you could get pretty banged up. That is a great family activity, though, should be a blast. Did you say he was in school?

Well, he didn't lose all that weight just now but when he added biking he lost another 5 lbs. We both started our "healthy lifestyle" change together last May. He lost 30 lbs and I lost 22 lbs. He doesn't eat as strict as I do but he is a guy and can get away with that. :x Not me..I have to watch and time every meal just right!!! Oh well, is a part of life now so no biggie. I will not give up till I reach my goals and beyond! Yes, he is at technical school for his Air Force job. He will be done late next month. :D I am so excited I get to go down there and see him graduate then we are going to spend a few kid-free days down there together and drive home!!! I am going to work my butt off at the gym and in the kitchen to look as best as I can!! Life is good! :D

Thats actually very impressive, that your weight loss was that close to his, actually if you do like The Biggest Loser, and my math is right, you lost 16%, and he lost 14%. That rocks. I went TDY at Fort Walton Beach, Fla. at Eglin back when I was in the USAF. Really nice, white, sandy, beaches. You guys will have a blast, being kid-free, and in Fla. yeehawww. Thats some definite motivation.

2 reasons for messages posting with innacurate timestamps.

1. The settings in your prodile are for a timezone you don't live in.

2. PHPBB boards have never allowed and I think still don't alow for daylight savings adjustments, so they always post messages with timestamps an hour out, for about 6 months a year.
