Paleness on face and fatigue after workouts

Postby Tanyablamba » Fri Aug 17, 2012 1:16 am

I started working out four months ago. I am 5' 3", weigh 130 pounds. I need to do a spot reduction on my legs otherwise my body is more or less fine. I have been doing rigrous strength training for 60 to 90 min, 6 days a week. My legs hv reduced one jean size but my face has become very weak and pale. All my blood test are fine so i am not anemic. Could this be due to lack of protein? I am not able to understand

You may be doing too much exercise.

You also will find spot reductrion is nigh on impossible. Someone came on here about 3 years ago and said it is in a hormonal way and I've heard it supposedly works with giant sets, but to be honest if it is possible, it's hard and you probably will fail to do it.

Lack of protein could potentially cause weight gain. If you changed your diet and ate less Protein you could find you can't sustain your muscle mass, burning a bit off and as muscle burns calories, so losing some reduces caloric burning potential, meaning you could store more calories as fat.

Melatonin is a substance in the body that can help with natural skin tanning and the natural colour of hair, as opposed to having grey hair. I believe it is affected by Copper intake for one thing, so these things may be linked to pale skin if so, Copper is in things like Beans, Rice, Shellfish, (I think), Mushrooms, pork, nuts, green veggies etc, so consider some of your food choices and perhaps amend slightly, as you may possibly be undereating a bit, so if my supposition about the pale skin is right, you might need more copper in your diet.

I read here some time back that it actually can; at least on a hormonal level anyway.

Sounds like you need to go back to the doctor.

You may be doing too much exercise. Why not slow down a bit. Eat more healthy fruits and vegetables also.
