hi everyone
i'm really new to this whole thing and the website , but i've read thru the existing topics but can't find the answers i want so i decided to post one my self

i am 16 years old , male . I wanna get six pack. That's my only goal cuz i already have pretty good chest muscles and i can already do 60+ reps of quality push-ups. Here's what i do

i work out every other day
- run about 15-18 mins, which is about a mile , average speed = 6 mph and burns about 200 calories
- do 70 crunches
- 40 obliques crunches on the fitness ball

will i ever get six pack if i keep doing this ? what's the weakest thing of my routine ? is it way too lil cardio excercise ? i'm very skinny and have a fast metabolism.

another question is what matters the most ; speed , distance , time or calories burned ?

also if my routine's good enough , how long should it take to start seeing results ? I've been doing this just for a weeks and a half.

thanks so much for all the replies and sorry for my bad English

getting abs is 80% diet so if eating too much shit food it won't happen. u also need to do weighted ab movements which build ridges in abs and twisting movements for that deep casm in the middle look...plenty of veg, proetin and healthy fats...as for cardio i wood do wts instead as it is more intensive...the only cardio i wood (if i done any) would be Tabata style doing 20 seconds all out sprinting with 10secs slowest jog you can do x 8 cycles (and only 8, less if u have to)

You've got some good ideas

Your ab routine is headed in the right direction. Here are some tips for you.
1. Slow DOWN! concentrate on moving one vertebra at a time as you curnch up. Take 5 or 6 seconds for a rep. Drop the number down to 10-15.
2. Where are the back extensions to train the whole core?
3. Do your crunches on the ball too.
4. Evaluate your diet.

Good luck!
