19. . 5'9. 150lbs.
I'm currently doing Starting Strength (SS) I'm halfway through 3rd week.
current stats are:
Squats 3x5 @ 115 lbs.
Bench 3x5 @ 85 lbs.
Deadlift 1x5 @ 110 lbs.
I'm looking to train for aesthetics, not really to gain huge amounts of muscle, not saying I want to be scrawny either..
According to this
http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I need 2708.78 calories a day to maintain.
Any suggestions on how many calories a day/what exercises/programs to do in order to be "aesthetically pleasing"? I want to be able to see abs, which I can't because of the layer of fat on them, I can see the top of them in the morning before I eat anything, once I eat they're gone. I'm apparently "Skinny-fat".
Suggestions welcome.
This is how I currently look:

Also, I'm going to start swimming as well.

one goal at a time
stay with starting strength for 2 - 3 months and assess then
once your strength is better you'll get better muscle gains

Aesthetically Pleasing body need intricate tweaks and constant hard work and attention to the finest of details to build. These tweaks are often get ignored by people and it starts looking goofy.

I'm not entirely sure what that last sentance meant exactly, but it did sound funnykaithsandy wrote:Aesthetically Pleasing body need intricate tweaks and constant hard work and attention to the finest of details to build. These tweaks are often get ignored by people and it starts looking goofy.
