New here and looking forward to my success PLEASE HELP

Postby nyratoncito » Tue Oct 27, 2009 7:38 pm

Hello every one my name is Carlos and I found this web and forum very helpful. I have started working out since the beginning of September and looking forward in gaining muscle mass but is seems that I only seen a small change on my body. My stomach as not change at all, I have been doing 20-22 min cardio (run) every time before I start lifting weights and abdominal exercises after lifting weights and nothing as change in my appearance. I don't know what am I doing wrong. I am taking Whey Protein 30min - 1 hour after workout and also taking AMPLIFIED MUSCLE IGNITER 4X, AMPLIEFIED MAXERTION N.O from GNC 1/h before workout to give me strength and energy. I am also taking Mega Men from GNC in the morning after breakfast and at lunch time. Please give me advise, I really need it. I work our 5-6 day a week for 1-2 hours. I am not eating fatty food like I use to before I started working out. I am so exited to get to my desire level, I have motivation but looking at no change seems to put me in a bad mood. lol Please advise me for better results to gain mass lean muscle. Thank you

okay then do cardio after weights not before because its better that way.5-6 days everyday??? 1-2 hours is a little too much you must keep it under a 1 hour and muscles dont grow without giving it them time to recover and repair themselves.what is your main goal is it to lose weight or gain lean mass??

Gaining requires some rest, so make sure you get plenty!

I would cut the cardio down to 2-3x/week. Do you do anything besides abdominal work? I might have missed something in the post, my contacts are a little sticky today (:

Well I run for about 20-22 min, and sometimes I do abdominal workouts.

You need to work your entire body. dips, squats, deadlifts, lunges, bench (if you have a spotter), pull ups, military press etc will all help you build muscle which will tone you up and burn fat!

what exercises do you do wnen you lift?
Running willl gain you no lean mass. Infact it may make you loose mass if your not eatting enough.

and today you are dismayed at lack of results?

I'll check back here next September and see if you stuck to a plan and are still reporting weak results.

Warmest regards,
oscar

I started working out this September if it was the one last year I probably woould be frustrated at no results lol. Anyways I am not doing that much cardio like you guys advise me to do so and yes I should be more patients. When I go lift weights I do bench presses, arms sometime back and stuff Like that should I rest like two day you think every five days I work out? Anyways guys thanks 4 the advise.

Do this 3x/week, and cardio 2 others, and rest 2. You need to rest in order to gain. Working abs only isn't going to do much, unfortunately. Or fortunately. Idk. Anyway, you also probably don't need thsoe supps. I would suggest a serving of protein powder after a w/o, and the rest of your nutrient should come from whole food (:

Where in the 'ville are you? I'm at the beach.

yes this is the right way to go because since most of this are full body workouts you recuirt more fibers that way too, try doing heavy weights fewer reps, put some tempo into it for example you life it for 1-2 seconds then pause 1 second at the top of the movement and it should take you 3-4 seconds to lower it and you dont need supplements really because all you have to do is know how to do it right and with good form.

.
It is impossible to gain muscle & burn fat at the same time no matter what anyone tell you.
YES IT IS ITS CALLED HYBRID MUSCLE JUST BY DOING IT RIGHT YOU BE BUILDING MUSCLE AND BURNING FAT AT THE SAME TIME LOOK AT THIS http://leanhybridmuscle.com/access/
