Ab Help

Postby CrisPBacon » Mon Nov 02, 2009 1:32 am

hey guys,
i have started working out and getting some good results, but my abs don't seem to be coming along how i want then to. I know that the abs are the hardest to get ripped because that's where the body stores the fat, but when I'm standing around i look down and it just seems like my stomach sticks our instead of nice tight abs. i was wondering if i just stick with cardio and crounches and bridges or is there other workout that can get my abs in better shape.

As someone once said, 'abs are made in the kitchen',

ask yourself this question, do you still want to get bigger? if your happy with your size then you should start 'cutting' which im sure you are aware of,
In which case you would monitor your calorie intake and increase cardio vascular activity to burn off the unwanted fat, you must still make sure
to eat enough during your cutting phase as the last thing you would want to lose is muscle mass through lack of food and too much exercise.

ab exercises are good at strengthening the core/abs, to unveil them you need to lose the fat, but you will lose fat all over not just the stomach

If you still want to get bigger, leave unveiling your six pack till later, it is counter productive in my opinion trying to acheive both a six pack and massive
arms/chest/quads etc at the same time, as one involves burning shit off the other is eat everything in sight.

If you are doing any cardio right now, change it to intervals/HIIT type training to burn more fat or add it in 2 or 3 times a week.
