I'm not a ruinner currently but i'm pretty good at estimating mileage and i know that is from my days of running.

....when you pack a suitcase for a trip and your main concern is how many running outfits and shoes to bring - and will there be enough room left for your "regular" clothes.
(I must confess - I pack my running shoes and running clothes, hydration belt, mp3 player, & handheld water bottle holder in my carry on bag...can't risk losing any of that! )

I don't think I'll ever be a runner. I only tend to do that sometimes when a bus is coming. Ha!.

I'm always staring at the side of the roads I'm driving on, deciding if they are "run worthy"

Old running shoes never die, they just become your newest "daytime casual shoe" I have retired running shoes in every color to match any outfit.

Yep. I've been running since Oct. 2010 and have 6 pairs of running shoes so far... LOL.

My first thought when getting sick yesterday was, crap... this means no run. :-/

I have a heel contusion on my left foot and I've been able to run without pain, but it really worried me at first that it hurt so much when I was barefoot and my immediate thought was how it would affect my ability to run (or go to boot camp). Thankfully the cushion of running shoes has been enough that the pain is not there at all as long as I have them on.
