2-3 sessions for 30 minutes is all you realistically need, becasue if you add some weights in there 3-4 days a week and keep the diet right, then you don't need masses of cardio anyway.

Weight loss is 70% diet so focus on that, try keeping a food journal. Like Boss Man said 30 minutes of cardio is ideal. Use a interval format warm-up for 5 then do 20 minutes of fast/slow intervals and a 5 minute cool down. The key to the intervals is to vary the duration regularly and to push hard. As you condition your pace should increase on the fast section of the intervals.
