You could do a system like this if you wanted to.
Day 1. Weights
Day 2. Cardio
Day 3. Weights
Day 4. Day off
Day 5. Cardio
Day 6. Weights
Day 7. Day off
This splits your off days and stops you training more than 3 days straight.
You would be working out for around 45-60 minutes, maybe a bit longer, doing total body stuff, working all the muscle groupd 3x a week.
Alternatively on the weights, you could do a 3 days split, so something like Legs / Biceps, Chest / Triceps, Back / Shoulders.
Cardio is fine for 30 minutes. Interval is a good one to use. I'd perhaps go for something not to difficult right now, in lieu of your admissions abour Cardiovascular ability and stick to a level 2 or 3.
I'm really happy you're going for the muscle building option and hopefully you'll end up with a strong, healthy body that lasts a lifetime and female muscle DOES have the ability to accentuate beauty, not detract from it, so ignore any bullcrap about manly looks etc, as most of that is said by people who never go near gyms anyway and on many occasions are overweight slobs no doubt.
