Jumping Cardio exercises?

Post by Onewithfit »

Hey I'm a 19 year old , 155 pounds.
I consider myself to be in better shape than most, but I used to be in extraordinarily great shape in previous years when I did Taekowndo. In a nutshell I want to get at least to touch what I had had before.
The one thing that really seemed to work is cardio that involves jumping or quick movement changes. Could anyone here refer me to any good exercises, preferably ones I can do in a uni gym with little room.

Skipping rope and doing box jumps work well. Have you done either before?

Here are some videos:

Great suggestions above.

If you are looking for quick lateral movement drills try the hexagon drill too. It is used by athletes and martial artists to improve agility and footwork.
