A Tasty Delicious Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Post by Boss Man »

1. Take a small tomato and slice it up.

2. Cut about one inch of cucumber off a length and slice it up.

3. Cut about 50g of pumpkin.

4. Cut about 50g of marrow.

5. Cut about 1/4 of an aubergine, (eggplant).

6. Slice one large jalapeño

7. Cut 50g of avocado

Finally mix in a blender.

You could add some ice if you wanted to but it's not necessary.

Enjoy :).

Maybe this is what you're referring to when you said squash

yes. maybe... I like squash but i don't eat it a lot. didn't grow up with it. I think a pumpkin is apart of the squash family too. They come in different shapes and sizes.

No it's not, because all those foodstuffs contain seeds and the definition of a fruit is anything that contains seeds or pips .

It may well do but it isn't, no matter how often you call it that :funny: :funny:

i have another one. That is really good although a bit spendy to buy.

1 cup chopped raw pineapple
1.5 cups frozen blue berries
1 orange seeded and cut into quarters
1/2 to 3/4 cup water

blend to desired consistency.

could add almonds or walnets too. from the martha stewart collection i don't have a link.

tastes REALLY good and i read not sure if this true but pineapple has bromeline in it which is anti-inflamatory.

Nice recipe for a fruit and vegetable smoothie :thumb:.

Bromelain is an anti-inflammatory it's true. It's also a protease so it can help digest dietary protein. Papain in papaya fruit and ficin in figs are also proteases.
