Hi guys, i'm pretty new to this healthy eating and gym stuff mainly due to the fact im a picky eater!
Im currently about 6ft 1 weighing 14stone.
I go to the gym before work everyday and have about 45 mins in there (I know its not a lot of time but I have to go to work)
Im just wondering what food can I have that will help me lose weight and tone up!
I don't like nuts, vegetables. Like I said im a pretty picky eater! but if someone could give me options for breakfast snacks etc.. That would be great!

Hi A Rollinson, good to talk to you.
This kind of system might work for you. It's something I've posted before
Breakfast
Option 1.
Bowl of Whole-grain Cereal and 1 rasher of Bacon, fat trimmed off and scrambled Eggs, (2 Egg Whites + Yolk)
Option 2.
Protein shake, small portion of Nuts, (excluding higher carb ones like Cashews, Chestnuts and Grapenuts), + Apple. Give the Apple 10-15 minutes to digest to improve digestion.
Snack
Option 1.
Portion of Turkey + Orange
Option 2.
Small Portion of Peanuts, some Chicken + Raw Carrott.
Lunch
Option 1.
Large Beef Sandwich with trimmings, I.E. Tomato, Lettuce, Cucumber etc.
Option 2.
Bowl of Chicken Soup, + Pot of yoghurt.
Snack
Option 1.
Turkey + Cashews
Option 2.
Ham + 2 large Tomatos
Dinner
Option 1.
Pork with mashed Potato.
Option 2.
Chicken and Rice
Option 3.
100g Halibut + Broccoli
Snack
Option 1.
Beans on Toast
Option 2.
Ham Sandwich, no trimmings.
Easy on the bread with both options.
You could add a few things to certain meals, like Sea Salt, Cracked Black Pepper, Parsley, Mustard, Herbs, Garlic.
Certain things can be changed however to suit your situation.

Cool thank you I'll give it a go
Re: New guy:- what food to eat
Hey,
First of all toning is a combination of building muscle mass and fat loss. What is your current nutritional structure?
Considering you're a beginner you are blessed with the ability to lose body fat and build muscle mass. I'll be able to give you a little more in depth advice once I know what you are doing.

Hey alexis, as I said I'm brand new to this and I'm kind of a noob when it comes to knowing what to do and what to eat and not to eat, so if you could shed a bit of light on what you thinks best that would be great
Re: New guy:- what food to eat
In short look at it like this. Don't necessarily change what you are currently doing, just make sure you're at a calorie deficit.arollinson wrote:Hey alexis, as I said I'm brand new to this and I'm kind of a noob when it comes to knowing what to do and what to eat and not to eat, so if you could shed a bit of light on what you thinks best that would be great
You can figure this out by using measurements.
Step 1: Measure yourself - kg, waist, chest, arms etc use a measuring tape and photos to track your progress
Step 2: Add exercise to your life the way it currently is
Step 3: Remeasure after 1 -2 weeks - Is there a change? If yes, keep doing what you're doing / if not, reduce your food intake slightly
Step 4: Repeat steps
If you want a basic nutritional guideline
Protein: With every meal
Vegetables: With every meal
Carbs: Post workout
There are hundreds of nutritional options but keep it as basic as you can to start with.
Does this help more?
