Great post! Saturated fat and cholesterol were never the cause of heart disease and anyone who tells you that is severely misinformed or is lying through their teeth. The health care industry makes billions of dollars every year at your expense

Great post Boss Man! Learning a lot about cholesterol even at a a young age. I'd like to share another read about cholesterol, and it's got some points Boss Man didn't mention. I was quite surprised that genetics can also affect your cholesterol levels. Check it out here: http://tgp.com.ph/blog/8-factors-affect ... rol-level/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This is really informative as I think a lot of younger people assume having high cholesterol or problems related to cholesterol related to age and that isn't always the case.

No. Some people can be born genetically predisposed to high cholesterol, so age and weight are not necessarily the only precursors to high cholesterol.

Some people with normal BMI who are active can have it, surprisingly enough.

HDL is a good cholesterol. It doesn't go to your bloodstream but eliminated quickly. Make sure to a have a lipid profile assessment every 6 months.

HDL, High Density Lipo Protein, is the medium the cholesterol travels in and it is actually conditionally good. The condition being that too little of it can be very bad.

By increasing intake of grass fed butter and coconut oil cholesterol levels actually decreased in a relatively short amount of time. There is a huge difference between good and bad fats.
