Help finding new protein powder

Postby Kliv11 » Thu Sep 03, 2009 2:47 pm

I am about to finish off the last of my Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 protein from gnc. I am not sure if i am completely satisfied with it. Any suggestions for something different?

Not being funny, but what was it about the product you disliked? It might give some insight into what you require.

It is not that i disliked it. Before the amped i was using muscle milk light. i was turned onto this product after speaking to the guy in GNC, who of course, was pushing the product. I do not want something that is high in calories like a meal replacement, or something with a lot of sugar. I know there are a lot of products out there and before i go back to gnc because its gold card week, i wanted to know what else worked for people.

Two basic options then.

1. Whey Concentrate or Isolate, with Carbs.

2. Either without Carbs, if you ind some Brands have too much Carb, then add in either Honey, Crushed Oats or Both.

If you want to manipulate the taste, then I would suggest either Vanilla Essence, ground Ginger, ground Nutmeg or Cinnamon.

If you never tried it and are set a paying to much at GNC then I would go with the GNC brand. Its low cal has high protein taste good and mixes easy. I have used it and like it alot. The other brand i like the best is ON 100% whey.

Hope that helps.
