Keep up the hard work, you're doing brilliantly :).

Good to know the problems wiht Gluten have been addressed and action can now be taken.

At least it never got as far as manifesting itself into an IBD, like Coeliacs or Ulcerative Colitis, from what you wrote. You'd know if you experienced severe abdominal pains, blood in the stools etc.

You can also get gluten free Breads, rice etc, so it's not the end of the world.

Hit a new low weight today! 3 lbs. away from my weight when I got married (7 years ago)! Weird thing is that all the clothes from that time period are too big on me... hmmm. Might it be a little thing called muscle that's making the difference?

I'm very sore from a calisthenic workout I put myself through yesterday. I can't even remember everything that I did, but apparently it worked good as a full body workout because my legs, arms, and abs are all sore! Feeling so much better being Gluten-free. Energy level is getting better and finally lost the headache I'd had since last Friday. I'm still waiting to hear results from the celiac blood panel... everything else he tested me for (mostly vitamin and enzyme levels) came back normal except for my standard Vitamin D deficiency.

Finally feel like I'm back in the saddle. Lost 2 lbs this week to hit a new low through buckling down on my eating and doing plenty of calisthenics. I am now officially at my wedding weight from nearly 7 years ago. My energy level still isn't quite back yet, but I'm slowly working up to working out as hard as I was before.

Still no celiac results back yet. I'm growing very impatient with this stupid local lab. My son is also being tested since he has intestinal issues relating to cystic fibrosis and they want to be sure they are treating everything they can.

I'm a bit of a chameleon. I change hair colors frequently (brunette, red, and now blonde - all in the past year) ... and yeah... I'm a much thinner me too.

Hello again! Back on the horse. Training for a quarter Marathon in October. Trying to get about 20 more lbs off by January. I'm down a little over 40!!! I'm at the lowest weight I've been since I was 17 (I'm 29 now), so the goal is in sight. I'm used to living the gluten-free life now and I've pretty much cut bread out of my diet. I still eat rice pasta and take in carbs plenty of other ways... like veggies of course!

Yesterday... 2.06 miles in 23:30.

Today,
Nice little core workout:
20 knee-ups
20 leg raises
40 cycles
20 reverse crunches
20 regular crunches
20 hip thrusts
20 oblique crunches
20 cross and reach crunches
20 reverse crunches
Repeated 2x

Using 8 lb weights, (2 sets of 15 reps each)
bicep curls
tricep extensions
chest presses on exercise ball
shoulder presses
squat lifts
Sumo squats

GOOD LUCK to you Jen, because you're a really wonderful Lady and I hope things work out for you :).

CONGRATULATIONS. on the weight loss too. I'm really proud of you and I hope you are proud of yourself too becasue you deserve to be.

This will help you to be an even better rolemodel to your Son. You've got all the qualities required, to teach him how to be human and what it means and soon enough you'll have the physical example, to show him how to look after himself.

It's been quite a while since we've heard from you, but it's always great and I wish you a lot of luck for the future.

We are all here for you anytime and pushing for you, so don't leave us in the lurch for too long in future okay :P :P, because people like you are missed when you're not here because we lose a bit of the colour and richness you add to our community.

Keep pushing and keep on believing, because you ARE doing GREAT!!!!

:) :) :) :).

Getting over being sick with head junk, so I did a light workout today. Ran 20 flights of stairs, then did a light cardio workout. Tomorrow will be a tougher one.

20 flights and THEN a "light cardio workout"?! Damn, woman! I don't think I've ever even seen 20 flights of stairs before :)

Was out of town this weekend visiting friends so didn't have time to get a proper workout in, but helped my friend who is pregnant and not supposed to lift anything over 10 lbs. We moved and organized two whole closets worth of stuff and I lifted several boxes close to 50 lbs a piece to the highest shelves in the closets and moved them around to organize as well. Several hours worth of moving stuff. I'm sore today!!! Talk about a great core workout.

You can be really proud of yourself Jen, for finding an alternative to the issue, so plan B didn't turn out to be do nothing.

You might not have exercised in quite the right way(s), you may have wanted but you did something pretty intensive by the sound of it and that is definitely a big plus.

Your current attitude to your own life is really something, so keep your chin up, keep believing, keep pushing and keep remembering that you've got a little lad, who can have a really superb rolemodel to look up to with you, if you want him to :).
