Be proud of yourself man, that's some seriously good change :).

What's your current weight by the way or don't you know?

Keep up the hard work, because you're fast becoming a rolemodel to others, that think it's too late in the day to get started and you've made a bold and positive statement about your future and that deserves a shed load of credit bud.

You're a good man and I hope it keeps working out for you. It's good to see you back here and good to know how you're doing :).

Thanks Boss Man! I appreciate it! I currently weight 248 lbs.

Here are some additional, recent pictures for people to take a look at.

This shirt is an XL and it's already too large for me :D

You da maann

Seriously though, you are showing yourself to be becoming a good male rolemodel. You've taken control of your life and you haven't looked back. I can appreciate It's hard to do what you've done, but you've stayed humble throughout and there's a lot of honesty about what you have done and how it's been done, because you haven't used stupid pills, dumb diets, B.S. and loads of flimsy excuses about things, you've used sensible choices, and real honest admissions about your efforts and the things you have done.

You've been a big man physically before, but now moreso a big man in stature and in human terms and I like how you are giving a lot to yourself and you're making it work, by sticking to it.

You've already come a long way and have a lot to be proud of and it's been a real privilege to have someone like you here, for other people to find self belief from, because it doesn't matter who you are, or other peoples goals, it's simply about good application of sensible methods and self belief. Cornerstones to any long term physical achievement, so keep sticking at it and keep believing in your own self worth, because your human value is growing by the day and by the week and you deserve to feel pride and good things about yourself, because you have earned that right.

Keep it up big man, you're doing a superb job :).

P.S. I just noticed in one of your pics, where you are wearing a yellow T-shirt, what looks like two people necking big time.

You kind of want to say, hey guys get a room, it's not all about you you know :P

Here are some recent photos of me. I've been working hard all summer but haven't lost as much as I've wanted too. I've been moreso in maintenance mode, but I am in the 230's now. I have discovered a few supplements such as Gymnema Sylvestre to help me cut down on my sugar cravings and I'm trying not to do too many cheat days like I used too.

I have some loose skin right now, and I may have to have surgery on down the road. Oh well...

Thank you all for your commentary and well wishes.

You look fantastic in the latest pictures that you posted!! :D It is now 2012 and you haven't posted any pictures in a while, I hope you are still doing well and are at your goal and beyond!! I have been where you were, almost 300 lbs for me, and now run at around 190 - 200. It is tough but you have to keep going! Best to you! :D

Thanks! I'm still plugging away, got rid of a lot of the holiday-bloat and I can still wear a size Large and my 40 Waist jeans are beginning to get a bit too big for me. If I start wearing a size 38, it will be my first time since I was a teenager! Considering that I was wearing 48-50 just three years ago, I know I've come a loooooooonnnnnnng way. My belly is a lot larger than I'd like for it to be, but I guess that will reduce in time.

Here is a photo I took earlier today:

Thanks guys. I still have some work to do, but I can fit in 38-inch pants and shorts for the first time since high school, and I'm in my 230's. Just 50 more pounds to go!

I've been going through some personal crap lately, haven't had a reason to smile much and I have slipped up on eating sweets every now and then, but I'm back on the wagon for now.

You have every right to be proud of yourself though. You can see the difference from that first picture compared to your current one, just how far you have come.

Good job, because it is barely easier for guys, if at all, compared to females, to lose weight so credit where credit is due and hopefully whatver has been happening recently you're over it now and can continue to fully focus on what is best for you regarding your goals.

You're a great guy, who deserves the chance to get a better life from what you're doing, so GOOD LUCK to you and keep on believing :).

Thanks Boss Man! I went to Easter dinner with some relatives and family friends who haven't seen me in a number of months and they kept telling me I was looking great. Sometimes, it takes folks who haven't seen me in awhile to remind me in order for me to keep from being in a total vacuum, if that makes any sense. I know my clothes are getting too big for me, and my belly is getting smaller, and yes, it's the little things that count sometimes. I sent this picture out to people today, and my mom called me talking about "You're thin enough!" Whatever, I'm trying to get a six-pack! I got 50 more pounds I plan on losing:
