thanks for the pizza idea. im gonna have to give it a try.

on another note today i have offically paid for the kickboxing class! it doesnt start until march though. today i decided to do some research and see what is around me for kickboxing and found a place thats pretty cheep. 40.00 a month includes 4days a week of class and 4days a week of open gym. :) i can handle that. plus it will get me ready for my class. lol. i've always enjoyed the boxing and have always been curious about taking an actual class with bags. this place also offers the first class free to try. :} next month i will have the money to take a whole months worth of class. i cant wait! now i wont be bummed about winter coming and feeling stuck in the house! i cant get over how cheap it is i was really expecting it to cost a lot more than that!

here is to new beginings!

Postby rockchick_82808 » Wed Mar 21, 2012 6:29 pm

well it seems as though it has been forever and a day since i have made a post one here so let me get you up to speed.

had a lot of family problems needless to say my dad is now out of my life for good since thanksgiving and i couldnt be any happier. he was always a huge source of my depression and not to mention my grandmas. she too has not had a thing to do with him since.

i have a new job now! i now work for a health insurance company and my car is now paid off! next is the credit card! that stress is now going away.

today i just found out our company is having a weight watchers program start up in april. employees pay for half the price and the company pays the other. the meetings are everyday at lunch. if you reach your goal weight the company gives you back the money you paid! i talked to a woman today who i have been sitting with at lunch and she said that if i choose to start our lil group is very supportive. she said i will have people there to help. :) it feels good knowing that i am now surrounded by positives!

since i havent been working at the drug store for the past 3weeks, i dont have any junk food at all! no more temptations around me! i pack healthy lunches that i actually eat when i bring it with me! i park on the 5th floor in the garage at work and take the stairs. i walk 3miles when i get home. last night i jogged 2miles and walked a mile to cool off. i have lost 3pounds sofar! my boyfriend now is eating healthy because his doctor laid it on him that he needs to take charge before his diabetes goes out of control. his mom also goes on walks with me and will be doing so shortly after dinner tonite.

things are really going my way this year! at the end of the year my bf and i are even planning on buying a house! i am so excited and cant wait to see what happens this year! i haven't felt this relaxed and happy in quite some time. i dont have the stress from my job like i use to, my bills are finally being managed, and life style is going in a positive direction!

thank you soo very much! i really appreciate it. the weight loss is all intertwined with the other life situations and i needed to make some major changes all over. the more i work at this the more my eyes open to the possibilities of the I CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN! if i dont change the reasons for whats behind my bad eating habits i cant expect it to go away.

i dont munch on anything. i pay attention to my body and only eat when hungry. if i feel i need a snack i have grapes. i'm surround by a better atmosphere where others are goal oriented. i sleep better at nite now, i notice my body isnt tense like it use to be and this is only after 3weeks! its amazing how you truly realize how those things affected you in a bad way once they are gone.

It's been a long time since you've been here, but I'm happy for you about what's been going on. I'm also proud of you for not giving up on yourself or the "you and him" thing with the bf.

You have always had what it takes to make your goals reality, but you needed to find that belief and fully embrace it and let the process take hold of you. I think sometimes you may have let negative people and things get in the way of that and needlessly as well, as some negatives can crimp a persons plans, but others are avoidable or can be worked around.

The bottom line is, you're now in a more balanced life state and this should help you to better further your original health wants. I did think about you sometimes when you weren't here, because I always hoped you'd come back and not do what has happened before, which is shy away from people like us who care about you, to live in a situation, where you were allowing yourself to be trapped in some kind of negative fug for a few weeks, not wanting people to see what was up with you or feeling embarrrassed or ashamed of yourself for some reason.

I hope now you have the emotional and life platform to find more self expression and connectivity with others, because the more you project yourself towards others that are willing to receive, the more they can project thesmevles back to you, in a way that's good to receive.

This site will never go away anytime soon and neither will we. You're a true sweetheart Chrstina with a lovely heart when you really open yourslef up to others and I've long wished for such a heart to be rewarded by life and now it seems you are getting that.

I'm sending you a BIG PAT ON THE BACK and lots of good wishes and I hope that this time, you're back for good, because you belong here, getting the extra support a site like this can give you and because there's only one you and we don't want the person you are inside to change, because you're just fine the way you are.#

GOOD LUCK for the future and keep on believing okay, because you have always will be WORTH IT!!!

:) :) :).

thank you!

on another note, today i had printed this entire blog! i wanted to read everything i posted. mostly to find out when i got so off track. how when i was first starting out went from 216 to 239 today! i know i went though a crap storm with family, depression blah blah blah. but i want to see what bad habits i developed, how i reacted to these events. what i can change so this wont happen again once i start loosing this weight. so far i have been highlighting important points. such as tips from you all of you. :D looking back at all this is helping me out. tomorrow is my fitpoint, i will post how that goes and what the results are.

found what i was looking for

Postby rockchick_82808 » Sat Mar 31, 2012 7:00 pm

so, i mentioned about printing the journal i came across something interesting. in 2010 from jan to june i had dropped two dress sizes. then, it went south. i lost my gym membership, and from june to august my weight sky rocketed! i wasnt doing any regular routines to motivate me anymore. i became lost, and lazy because when i was home, i didnt want to work out. i bumped up to 235 with in those matter of months! all the hard work went away so fast. i really think, that now i have a membership again, and jumping into a weight loss group right off the bat is going to put me back on track! it really saddened me reading that. so see how fast i let myself go. to be quite honest i'm happy that my 239 now isnt higher considering the rapid weight gain i had that year! could u imagine where i would be today if i had allowed that pattern to continue? i would be morbidly obese! i not only hope, but i will make this positive change happen the way it did when i first started this site! now that the tools are set in place, my journey will begin once again. just reading how good i was doing and how quickly everything went south, shocks me. how could i of allowed that? this wont continue, no more!

You WILL be able to make this workout for you. You have what it takes to believe and be positive and proactive, so don't worry about it, just let the process take it's natural course, be positive and what you want to achieve CAN happen.

The fact is you're still here and still trying and that is the most important thing. People who stop trying get nowhere and you ARE worth so much and a person like you with a lot of emotional beauty deserves the kind of life that rewards well for it and I hope you get it.

Keep pushing and GOOD LUCK. You are a real sweetheart and one of the loveliest types of people I've ever come across and for continuing to believe and continuing to try I am proud of you and will continue to support you and stick by you :).

today was fitpoint

Postby rockchick_82808 » Sun Apr 01, 2012 4:22 pm

i went into my gym today for my fitpoint. the guy i had was really nice and he knew what he was talking about! he even continued to talk to me about what vitamins i should be taking and he even went 10min over our appointment so he could help me as much as possible. i am now taking a multivitamin twice a day. vitamin d and omega 3 fish oil.

now, here is what rock bottom looks like for my body...this is never going to happen again!

my body age is 49! i have 134.4lbs lean mass and 105.6lbs fat mass.

tomorrow nite is my first class for my team weight loss, that i go to for 3 days a week. my first month is free. after that its 175.00 a month. not bad considering its 12sessions a month, nutritional class every monday as well and its a small group of 20people or less.

soon as i left the place i went to the vitamin shoppe and picked up what he told me to buy. he was very sincere and really asked me questions to get to know me and what habits i had, and why wanted to change. he even asked, do i expect to get to where i want to be, with all the unhealthy lifestyles surrounding me and y did i decide to do this? i said, first its will power, second, its the simple fact of being fed up and that i want to be healthier and make a change now before it has a chance of getting any worse. once i get done with the team weight loss, i will for sure go to him for some one personal training sessions. i was really impressed with him. you can tell he is some one that not only talks the talk but walks the walk. i have never ran across some one like that at any gym i have attended. i really cant wait for tomorrow and see how this class goes. he had even introduced me to the lady who runs the class. i'm pumped!

i was a member of lifetime too here in mn. I really like lifetime, they have beauitful facilities except the personal training sessions were expensive at least here they are and the memberhsip is expesive too. But the club itself was really beautiful.

i thought of doing the team weight loss too when i was a memberh. hmmm. You got me thinking. 175 for 2 more months really isin't bad. Considering like you said it's for 3 months. Let us know how you like it!
