Hello everyone..
I'm new here. I browsed thru some posts abt health, weight-loss etc. It triggered interest to be part of the community.
I have been hitting the gym for over 5 years now, abt 2 to 3 times a week. I am a 50yo male, standing at 5'8" (abt 175cm), 155lbs (abt 71kg). I am a divorcee. Most ppl say I dont look my age and well, I quite agree with them. And, so I want to maintain to look good in order to have a "marketable" looks for personal reasons. Believe it or not, at 50, with my looks and dress sense, I still hit the clubs occasionally hanging out with younger friends and crowds. They dont have the slightest idea how old I am. However, I have always fought hard to "press down" my stomach most times when I'm at public area (the usual breathing in/out thingy). It is a tiring process to hide the belly. My waistline is 35". I wana go down to 30" or at least 31' the most. The gym visits dont seem to work. I have cut down running on the treadmill for quite awhile and especially after hitting 50 I have now practising to fast-walk on the treadmill once a week. I know it sounds too little but is there any other form(s) of exercising that I could follow without the needs to spend longer time in the gym or even doing streneous exercises? I am not seeking to have washbod abs. I just wana get rid the belly paunch.
Any advice from anyone would be very much appreciated.
