Re: Exercises at home for weight loss?
The stretches, treadmill, cross trainer, weights, Swiss ball, sit-ups, yoga and rope-skipping can all be done at home for weight loss. That's how I lost both weight and fat after babies (two of them). Only thing is, you must make up your mind and do it. Put the phone off, and don't answer the door bell.

Great post! If you WANT to workout and lose weight, THEN YOU WILL!! Don't answer the phone or the door- love it.

Get outside, walk, run, hike, play sports. Have your family and friends join you. The more fun you make it the more likely you will do it for a long period of time. It's always easier to "workout" when someone else is doing it with you and it's something that you at least some what enjoy!

This looks like a great home workout! ThanksJamesDonato wrote:I've been starting off with a 20 min workout at home.
3 sets of the following
10 X Run Up and Down Stairs (I have 15 steps)
15 X Pushups
20 X Squats
75 X Crunches on and exercise ball.
It's been killing me. Hopefully I'll get stronger!

James, your combination of muscle/strength building exercise and running up stairs is ideal for weight loss.

A week without food, you're skinny and cranky so, what i wanted to say... Even I use a smaller plates, even I eat small amounts of food I can not lose weight at all by using exerciseBoss Man wrote:Try this. I posted it some time back for a few other people. Anything you don't understand, just ask and me or possibly someone else will clarify.
3 minutes jogging on the spot.
Circuit 1.
1 x 45 seconds Squat Thrusts.
1 x 45 seconds, High Knees.
1 x 45 seconds Spotty Dogs
1 x 45 seconds Star Jumps
1 x 45 seconds Pendulum Swings.
1 x 45 seconds Burpees.
Including transitions, approximately 5 minutes for 1 circuit.
90 seconds rest
Circuit 2. Same circuit again, but 1 minute per exercise. Circuit time with transitions around 6.5 minutes.
90 seconds rest.
Repeat circuit 1.
3 minute warmdown, jogging on the spot.
Roughly 25 minutes in total.
Take the circuits at your own pace, but in future weeks, maybe after 2-3 weeks, you could increase your pace a little more, and see if you can handle it.
Only need 3 times a week on this, alternate days.
Re: Exercises at home for weight loss?
Are you saying you ate nothing for a week, or are you implying that's something I suggested to someone?
I'm not criticising, I'm just trying to understand .

Well done that to be in shape even working out at home!
If you don't know the technique of exercises, you can watch it here https://www.youtube.com/user/PushingUpWithOksana
Also there are some examples of workouts. You can choose any and workout any time you are able to.
The only thing is you don't need to do jumps if you can't or feel pain.
If you can't do any exercise you can do more simple variation. For example, if you can;t do deep squats, you can sit down to the chair and stand up. Repeat it as many reps as you can.
