Help getting bigger.

Hello, I have been skinny my whole life and i want to change now. Like i dont want to be a bodybuilder but i want to have nice abs and i want to get abit bigger. I am 24 and 5'9 but iam only 126 pounds. I didnt really eat much, like sometimes i would eat bars and that and maybe 2 meals or something but never really cared what i ate. But latly i decided to go to school to be a trainer but i dont start till sept. But right now i dont have a clue about what to eat. I got protein stuff to make shakes and that, but what kinds of foods and how much i need help with. And i read so much about lifting weights, like some say lift 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps and others say to get bigger you should lift heavy weights from 4 to 8 reps. And how much water should i drink?. Ok one last thing left to, doing stuff for abs like crushes or sit ups, how many should i do to get abs and that, well i said all i need to , so if someone can help me out i would be thankfull. Hey jayson so you want to get bigger... You dont want to be a bodybuilder! i wouldn;t worry about being a bodybuilder becuase theres no chance you will get that bid for a long time. I would suggest the waterbury method for your weight training it calls for heavy weight for the first exercise 10 sets of 3 reps and 4 sets of 6 reps for the rest but you can look that up. Your trying to get bigger and at 5'9" 126 pounds id say you must not be all that strong so youll need to work on that i suggest doing exercises like squats, deadlifts, benchpress, military press, rows, chin ups, dips ect.. youll see them in the waterbury method. you will want to train 3 times a week i would suggest with 4 times being max if your doing an upper and lower body split.

** the number on thing you need to get in order is DIET!!! you wont get bid if your not getting the right amount of nutrients. you should eat 6-10 meals a day if your trying to bulk and you will want at least 1 g of protein per pound of bodyweight. meals should be in certain order.
meal 1 oatmeal and fruit and maybe 1/2 scoop portein, and water
meal 2 veggie, protein, fruit
meal 3 veggie protein -meal10
you will want protein and veggies with almost every meal and make sure to get your whole grains as well as they hold alot of important carbs for bulking.

read the read before posting in the diet area and the waterbury method by chad waterbury and repost a diet and plan and ill take a look

i answered your other sets/reps thread but go with the waterbury method...don;t worry about counting carbs just have many nmeals, start at 5 and work up, and have protein everytime you eat...you can also get away wioth more carbs than most because of your body type so you can add in bread, pasta and rice but keep an eye on your waist measurement...if that is increasing but nothing else is then that's not desirable...don't worry about ab exercise at the moment either, only what's in the program...no add ons/take outs
