1. Lean protein, fruit and low GI carbs (oats)
2. Lean protein, veggies and healthy fat
3. Lean protein, veggies and healthy fat
4. Lean protein, veggies and healthy fat
5. Lean protein, veggies and healthy fat
6. Lean protein, veggies and healthy fat
Protein examples: 4-5 oz chicken breast; 4-5 oz turkey breast; 3-4 oz lean beef; 3-4 oz game meat; 6-8 oz fish; eggs and egg whites; whey powder (peri-workout or in oatmeal)
Veggie examples: broccoli; cauliflower; cabbage; celery; spinach; kale; bok choy; green beans; radicchio (note that peas and corn are not veggies)
Clean carb examples: oats; sweet potatoes; quinoa; brown rice; beans
Healthy fat examples: nuts; peanuts; sunflower seeds; EVOO; EVCO; avocado; fish oil; flaxseed meal
You know what else Martin? You are not seeing results because your diet is poor and you sit on your computer all day. You are 17!!! When I was your age, I was quite active. I played sports in high school and college, and I was always out with my friends. You have already been given advice on how to clean up your diet. If you refuse to listen, then that’s your problem, but stop whining like a little girl. It seems like you are doing this just for attention, but you are going to get the wrong kind of attention if you continue this way. I think it’s time to shed the Underoos and put on your big man pants.
