I don't play basketball for a team, but we play at the park alot.
For the past few weeks, I've been working on my leg strength, just so I can get more power out of my jump. Right now I can hang on the rim, but I really want to be able to dunk it.
So what I do, is lay on my pack, with 20lb ankle weights on each foot, and just raise them up and down, and then the bridge with them. Noticing some improvment.
And it works out the ab's very well.
