Ok, I posted up some pictures in my profile. The first was taken on 12/24 and the last was on 1/10. I was hesitant to put these up mostly because of the flaming heart silk boxers  If you can stomach looking at a big fat pure white belly, take a look and see what you think. This is a bit emabarrasing for me but what can you do. I will post up a pic every two weeks so you all can monitor my progress. Keep in mind I only lost around 5lbs between these two photo's. I also shaved the gotee after 6 years which was a huge shock to my kids and wife. They have gotten used to it now but you should have seen the look on their faces when I walked out of the bathroom the first time

P.S.-I promise to comb my hair for the next picture

LOL! Nice undies man! LOL! Sorry I couldn't resist.

Great job Rich. I can definitely see a difference. You're doing awesome and your attitude is great. Keep it up! I'm going to hold you to those progress pics. Progress pics are one of the most motivational tools for weight loss. It is SO cool to go back every few weeks and see how your body has changed. Great job friend!

Thanks gals. I see a pair of shorts and a comb in my future :) I really wish I would have gotten a picture from when I was at 218lbs. I regret that but not enough to put the weight back on so I can get a pic :o

Posting the future progress pics will keep me honest. I turned it up a notch for the next pic so hopefully the difference is noticeable.

Today is going well. I did not go to work today and am debating on taking today off from working out and do it on Sunday instead. I will post what I end up doing. Thanks for all the support!!

edit: I ended up taking today off. My body was just real tired and sure seemed like it needed rest. I ate good and relaxed most of the day.

1/16

Diet was very good and had to do the Friday workout on Saturday since I skipped Friday. I am also going to do 1 hour cardio on Sunday since I had my day off already.

It has been a week now and I must say I like the full body workout over the split routine. I was skeptical since I did splits for so long but the full definitely comes out on top. I will still throw in a split here and there to keep things mixed up. The full keeps my heart rate up and I also incorporate a lot of supersets. The real proof will be in the next pictures but already I can see a difference especially in my arms.

When I started lifting weights this time around there was a large difference in strength from my left to my right arm. I used more dumbells then barbell in effort to equalize them. This has worked wonders, there is still a difference but hardly noticeable.

I tried your protein shake recipe this morning - awesome! I added a 4 oz's of vanilla flavored Greek yogurt, and put 1 (generous) tbsp. PB instead of a tsp. and I added some crushed ice. It was great! :D Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Glad you liked it! I used to use more Peanut Butter until I started adding the Flax Seed. I like the yogurt idea!

I accidentally bought the honey flavored greek yogurt. I was scared to eat it as it did not sound appealing. Holy cow was I wrong. Hands down the best flavor I have found so far.

Since I have not posted a meal plan in a while here is mine for the day:

6:15-protein shake w/ground flax seed, 1pc whole wheat toast w/ natural peanut butter
9:30-greek yogurt, 1pc reduced fat string cheese
12:00-salad with 1 chunked chicken breast, apple
2:30-whey protein shake, 1pc low fat string cheese
4:00-cardio
5:00-2 tilapia fillets, 2 cups broccolli
7:30-greek yogurt, handful of almonds

I just bought a new meal replacement powder. Check it out and tell me what you think. I plan on using it for one meal each day.

Meals look good.

Why the meal replacement? I would stick to real food whenever possible and use the meal replacement if you aboslutely don't have access to real food. I'm a firm believer in eating food. Thats just me though. I really like to eat. :D

I really feel like I have gotten my program adjusted perfect for my body (full body workout, diet). I did a tweek on my HIIT's and not sure if it was a coincidence but the weight has been coming off big time the last 5 days. I know I was only supposed to weigh-in once a week but I wanted to keep an eye on it closer after this change. I won't spill the beans yet on how much I am down until Monday but it is looking like my largest one-week total since the first week. There will also be another progress pic coming this Sunday. I am really starting to have fun now :)
