Hey thanks...you should, it really helps keep your head into it, if you spend time with people who have similar goals. Most all people want change, but unfortunately most just wish, and don't pursue it, thinking it will just never happen. The people here make changes to their diets (even if they don't like it) they do the workouts, and the changes come, never as fast as we want, but if you aim at nothing, thats what you'll get. I have posted here for awhile, but have been "hanging out" for maybe a month, and have really enjoyed all the company (not sure they've enjoyed mine....but)...its been alot of fun. I've looked at a pile of these forums, and alot of them have a bunch of big attitudes, and trashy mouths, and thats not my thing. I'm not here to fight, but to encourage, and be encouraged..... :D That being said:

Sat. 4-10-10

Elliptical 5 min.-warm up

These exercises were done as Supersets, with 60 sec. rest between sets. Each exercise had a warm-up set of 12 reps, at about 40% of the work set weight.

Box Squat--135/12,12,12 superset with Upright Row--65/12,11,10

Flat Bench--155/8,7,6 with Seated Close Grip Row--150/12,10,8

Lat Pulldown--120/8,7,6 with SDL's--135/8,7,5

BIG protein shake after, my heart was pounding, and I need a nap......

Ethan and I went to Seventh Day Slumber concert last night. Didn't eat from like 1:30 until 8pm, which ended up being Sam's Italian Sandwich Shop, and I had a Chicken Parm sandwich, smothered in cheese...........and a Pepsi (I never have soda) huh....go figure.

Yuh, it was a great time. Ethan ended up on stage, he is such a ham, not shy like Dad. Nice Christian concert with Decemberadion, and Kiros (fron Canada) The lead singer from SDS, Jonas gave his testimony ($400/day coc addiction, took a lethal dose to end it, gave his life to God in the back of the ambulance while convulsing from the OD) He gave an invitation, and asked about people wanting to commit suicide, we're in a Church, mind you, and he got many responses...he met with all of them after, heartbreaking in the one sense, but Hopeful in another. How come we didn't bring tissues? Why can't I be normal, and have no emotion... Yuh, it was a great night..... :D

Will, I think you are very normal. You are teaching your son alot about what it means to be a man. A strong man is more than just muscle and brute strength. Being able to feel confident and strong enough to allow your emotion to show in front of others is a great asset and a important thing to teach your son. Don't ever feel embarrassed to shed a tear or feel strong emotions and show them outwardly- it is a quality alot more people would do well to have. I'm glad your son was there with you, to share that with you...just next time - don't forget the tissues!! lol!!! :D

Hmmm... I wouldn't have pegged you for the shy type :) Glad you had a great time! Emotion is nothing to be embarrassed about, be proud!
