Ok, I just typed in a really long post and all off a sudden it was gone. Booo hoooo! Has this ever happened to anyone else?? Arrrrg! Soooo, YES, tomorrow is today and I feel so much better since my workout this morning. We did combos of squats, good mornings, shoulder presses and I did 3 sets of 50 scissors with 10 push-ups! Man, that was hard! My wimpy arms hate push-ups! We also did 20 minutes treadmill intervals. My last one was 35 seconds at 11.0. My trainer says eventually I will do one minute at that pace! This I have to see since I could barely make the 35 seconds!! I spent a bit of time this morning putting my custom foods in Fit Tracker so I can keep better track of my cals. Can't wait to see what I have at the end of the day! I am sure it will be a contrast to what I was estimating. We shall see. Soooo, my hubby and I are making plans for my Florida trip. We have decided to drive down to Key West from his school in Pensicola!!! I am soooo excited especially since this is our first getaway alone in 2 1/2 years! Some major motivation there, yeah. I have 3 weeks to fine-tune my physique. Crunch time!! I will be going back to the gym this afternoon for cardio before the kids get home. Funnnn! Thank you, ladies for the encouragement. Yeah, I was ticked at myself yesterday but I am over it so upwards and onwards! (stolen from Noosk! ). Have a great day and some butt-kickin workouts, everybody! :D

Textbook performance Sandi, as always. Take a breather, have some "cheat food", give urself a rest day, then back on the horse, and ur going again. Perfect. We all have those days, and we need them at times. You can't, well maybe you can, but you shouldn't push the limits constantly, without a break, to let ur body catch up. 7 days in a week, 6 to work, 1 to rest....nice job.

Sandi, you are so motivating! :D Your workout sounded awesome! 11.0 mph is freakin fast!!!! When I'm doing 7 mph, I want to just collapse haha. I just got back from lunch and had a sugar packed meal and regretting it. After reading your post, I am motivated to work it off tonight! Keep up the butt kicking work!!! :D

That was just one of those days. Chalk it up to experience, learn from it and move on.

Your physical appearance says, you don't look like the sort of person who does that all the time, so that's something else to think about.

Evening everyone!! Well, was a long weekend. I did ok with food....not great but today was a fresh start and I am ready for the next 3 weeks. last night I had Sunday dinner at my mother-in-law's. She is Italian. Can you guess what she served??? Yep, pasta!! White pasta to boot! Well, I brought my own dinner in a tupperware but on the way over decided against bringing it in. Not eating an Italian woman's Sunday pasta is unheard of! Sooo, yeah I ate it and it was goood! I figured "what the hey" so I topped it off with a piece of lemon meringue pie I brought for dessert. Ok, so now I have all the yummy stuff and the "confession" out of my system so onward I go. So strange. I was doing soooo well then all of a sudden it got real difficult. So now I have to rid myself of all that sugar again and I will be fine. :D Thank you all for your encouragement! Yes, we all slip and fall and this past week has been an example of that. It's part of life and if it wasn't a struggle then everyone would be fit and healthy!! I took Saturday off from the gym but made it up yesterday with an hour of elliptical. It felt sooo gooood!!!

So today was weights day with my trainer. He really hammered me with a full body workout but focusing on back and shoulders followed by some really fast kick-boxing. I am very sore already!! My food was:

4:45 a.m.-protein shake w/water

5:00 a.m.-workout with trainer

6:15 a.m.-protein shake w/water

7:30 a.m.-mushroom omelette
oatmeal
strawberries

10:30 a.m.-2 lf string cheese
22 almonds

1:30 p.m.-1 cup chic broth
steamed chic
green beans

5:00 p.m.-1 can tuna w tsp lite mayo & onion
2 hardboiled eggs

7:00 p.m.-handful of peanuts

8:00 p.m.-lean ground turkey w/kidney beans and taco seasoning
brussels srouts

Will have a protein shake before bed.

Sooo, according to Fit Tracker my cals are approx 1,667 today. Some of the things I put in I wasn't sure of the portion sizes so is a estimate. I am happy with that number. Although I overshot my protein grams. I had almost 200 grams of protein today!! Maybe I need to get rid of one of my protein shakes. :? Also too much fat. I should not have had that handful of peanuts when I got home from work but I was starving!!!! Well. it's been a loooong Monday and I am ready to curl up with a book. Hope you all had a great weekend!! :D

Yeah it is really hard to keep the fat down, the tuna & eggs at the same time might be a slight overkill on protein.I ate 22 almonds the other day, thats alot of nuts  they also r high in fat, but since they r healthy fat, seriously its a bit confusing.Glad u had a good workout :)

Yeah, almonds rock!! hahaha. Bonnie, I def overkilled it with the tuna and eggs. I am soooo worried about getting my cals in that I forget about the macros. Ahhhh, gotta get it ALL right! I thought about a veggie in there but then I would be lacking cals and nuts and peanut butter are too fatty so can't overdo them either. I need quick snacks especially for my crazy workdays. Gonna check out some other people's food journals for ideas. I HATE cottage cheese so that will not work. Blah! On a good note I was at the gym at 5 a.m. for one hour ellip cardio this morning. :D I make the last 10 minutes reeeally hard!! Love/hate it! Anna, you are getting closer to your big day!!! I am sooo excited for you! :D Actually, Joc, I haven't either. While I was eating it I could feel those "bad" carbs going straight to my belly, tho so I didn't enjoy it much. Uugh, the things we do for family!!!

That's how I was when I ate pizza on Sunday for my nephew's birthday party - didn't enjoy it at all! We go to Florida next week and instead of going to restaurants we will be cooking all of our own food - normally we buy the groceries and split it between the number of people. This time I am buying my own food so I don't have to eat all the crap they are eating! It's crazy how good it feels to just eat well :D

Wow, have fun in Florida, girl!! I am going in 3 weeks!!! Yeah, when i told my husband I wanted to bring my own food to his mother's he told me to do so at "my own risk"! Ok, honey, I got the hint. I would not be offended if someone did that to me but most people are not in our food state of mind, I guess. So I go there and everything is white...white pasta, white italian bread. I was so hungry by then I ate it. That is good that you will buy your own food while on vacation. Watch, your whole family will be trying to eat it. Hahaha.
