Yes!!! That is awesome Lu! You are on your way! The next 9 lbs. will come off - don't worry, you are really on fire with your workouts and you have tweaked your diet, you are motivated and energized - all of those are the perfect combination to achieve your results!

As for Idol - great show last night! I always had a weakness for blond hair blue eyed guys  - so I am rooting for Casey a bit more than some of the other guys. and I agree he needs to take advantage of all his "female fans" and stick to the ballads, but I really want Big Mike to make it through - he has such a great voice and sincere connection with his music and in my opinion is probably the most vocally talented of the guys as far as range and voice control go. I totally did not get why they liked Siobahn last night - I didn't think she did that song any favors and that high note at the end broke apart - she didn't "nail" it as they said. I was really surprised Simon was as kind as he was...I was just waiting for his standard "karaoke " remarks. lol! I didn't see Aaron's performance or Lee's, and just caught a bit of Crystal who I love, but I don't think she did her usual greatness on that song. So I have no idea who will be going home - I hope it isn't Mike.

Thanks everyone ~! :)

Today weighed in at 169 too, so it stuck - wasn't a fluke - LOL

Today was Cardio Day

50 Windmills

Treadmill - 6 Intervals, 5 minutes slow, then 20 minutes steady and strong. HR was between 129-137 most of the time.

Will (Workout Buddy) said his cousin was serious about getting the PT Program and was looking forward to studying with me - yes!!

At noon another friend coming over to workout - I'll probably do some Swiss Ball stuff, ab work etc.

Food Yesterday

Oatmeal 1/2 c with Fresh strawberries and cinnamon
Protein Bar (after workout)
Salad with 1 small tomato, 2 in of cukes, 4 oz LFCC, a few craisins and walnuts - with Sun Dried Tomato dressing.
6 oz Bison Steak (medallions they were called) with veggie mixture, small red potato.

Probably not enough food but I wasn't hungry.

Have a great day!

Woo Hoo is right!! That is great Lu :D I feel like you and I and several others here are really "in the zone" now and on track with our weight loss. I know it inspires and pushes me to work hard when I read of everyone's successes - I don't want to get left behind!!!! We can really help each other to reach our goals, just by kind of "being in this together". Good job Lu. :P

Thanks Bonnie - my right arm is achy though after that workout - could have been all the work I did at the campground this weekend (opening up!) Especially using my right arm - cleaning the inside of the screen house with Clorox clean Up and then the roof! BUT, it's almost done and ready for some great summertime activities.

BUT - those activities have always been a problem. I really need to watch what I eat (and drink) I didn't do too bad this weekend, mostly working - I power walked both Sat and Sun - made Chili with Bison Friday Night - had shredded Wheat for Breakfast with strawberries, lunch was salad and left over Chili - Dinner was grilled Chicken over pasta with pesto and sun dried tomatos. Of course in between I had my yogurt and LF CC - stuff like that. Had Turkey Burgers last night I did keep my water consumption up but I had 1 Tangueray and tonic each night - and 1 light beer after going to the beach Saturday.

I'll have to post some pictures sometime of the campground - it's so much fun - my son, DIL and Grandson are next door and I just love being with them - they are so much fun! Poor Austin though, he NEVER wants to leave so it's quite a scene Sunday nights...going to school Mondays isn't quite so exciting anymore when he has to leave the campground. We will spend lots of time up here this summer after school is out. I just need to stay on task with food and exercising - that's why we came home last night, so I could exercise this morning - so off I go! My workout buddy should be here in a few minutes.

Have a great day

Today's Workout

Warmed up with 50 Windmills
Low Hurdle Step Overs F/S/B - 3 x 30
Single Arm Rows - 2 x 10 - 35 lb DB's
Reverse Lunges - 3 x 10 - 10 lb DB's
Squats/Sumo - 3 x 10 - BW
Chin Ups - 3 x 8 - 9 Assist - much harder at 9 Assist vs 10 - phew!
Shoulder Press - 2 x 12 - 8 lb. DB's

That's all - my lower back is aching, must be from all the campground work. Today we're going back to mulch if it stops raining.

Thanks Boss - I really am a completely different person that I was a little over a year ago - and it feels good! :)

Today was Cardio Day - Warmed up with 50 Windmills

Treadmill - 5 Intervals, 5 minutes slow, then 20 minutes strong and steady

Last week I got a water cooler with 5 gallon bottles since we go through so much water and the plastic bottles get expensive and are not earth-friendly. I couldn't figure out where to put it - upstairs in the gym or in the kitchen. Well, the gym won! First we thought, we won't drink it if we have to go upstairs to get it throughout the day, then a light bulb went off - going upstairs (15 steps up, 15 steps down) is GREAT exercise and we WILL go up throughout the day to get our water - it's a win, win!

I took some pictures today but haven't looked at them yet....I'm hoping to post some updates soon.

Have a great day/evening/morning - whatever where ever you are :)

Are you sure your right arm isn't achy, because you have to keep carrying the little fluffball around everywhere?

I know how some little Dogs can develop a tendancy, for wanting to be picked up and carried :P.

Ha~! Good point! But I always carry her in my *left* arm....so when she lays bonelessly on her back in the crook of my arm I can rub her little spoiled belly with my right - she's so cute!

Today had my deep tissue massage - he really worked my lower back, neck and right arm - just what I needed. Needless to say I was in no mood to work out when I go t home. Caught some Sunshine in the back yard instead - it's such a beautiful day! Hopefully after dinner but before IDOL I can get a workout in. If not I'll do a double tomorrow - Cardio and Weights.

Have a great day!

One thing I would say is, carrying her around might not be good for her health, if she doesn't actually do much effort.

I'm not saying you spoil your Dog, nor am I criticising :), but sometimes people can unintentionally hurt their pets, by caring about them in ways, they don't realise might be counterproductive.

Hopefully your Arm problem is temporary. Good luck and keep pushing for your goals. You're doing great :).
