Protein perhaps a touch high in the circumstances. Peanuts are good Fat, don't expell that good fat from the diet. Enjoy it :).

As for the sunbed, I'm saying nothing except that research shows Sunbeds and booths increase skin Cancer risk, by about 50-75% from one use. Mostly I suspect down to peoples inability to even use protection, expect possibly those Wink-eze things, but yet they'll go to the beach and slather on suncream, as if having all that UV within two feet of their naked bodies, isn't anywhere near as bad sunbathing without protection :? :?

You're doing great with everything though and it always shows, so WELL DONE :).

Good morning, friends! Les, you grew up in the Keys??? Why the hell did you ever leave??? haha. All I know is we are staying on a military base down there so we can save $$ on accomodations and have more for activities and of course..drinks!! LOL

Soooo, today is my 45th bday! I am only mentioning it because it is a milestone for me as I made a resolution and a plan when I was in the worst shape of my life last year to get in the best shape of my life by my 45th. I am happy to say I have stuck with it and yes, I am at my fittest. I am not at my skinniest but that was not my goal!! There were times when I weighed much less but didn't look or feel as good. Yes, I am definetly the most FIT I have ever been. I see muscles now I never knew I had and I feel so young!! I have adapted a healthy lifestyle that I love and will always be a part of my life!! I am a lucky girl to have found it and ShapeFit!

Yesterday my trainer hit me with a circuit workout. Phew, that was tough but I made it....barely. Then after that I did a mile on the treadmill. Started out at 6.0 then up to 7.5. Always challenging!!!

This morning was at the gym at 5 for 1 hr elliptical cardio. I am really getting up there in resistance. Always crank it up harder the last 10 minutes!! As for food....well, is my bday week. That is all I will say! Must have CAKE!!!

Hope you all are doing well and kickin some butt at the gym. Having a relaxing day and getting my hair done! :D

My dad was in the Air Force and stationed in Key West - we lived there for 2 years. I was just a little girl - 7 or 8 - but I remember it was a beautiful place and I have lots of great memories from there. :D

Sandi, random question. How long did it take you to get pass 114 lbs? I've been at this weight for months!!! I feel more fit, and I feel somewhat lighter, but I weigh the same. It's soooooo frustrating. I usually work out 4 days per week on average, spinning twice a week, one day of intervals, then I do two full body classes (circuits, aerobics, kickboxing, or bootcamp). I'm thinking I should up my cardio and throw in 2 cardio days? What do you think?

Also, I guess I should mention that my body seems to slow down during allergy season. I'm always bloated and get rounder in the face. I can't be like this for my wedding!!! Help... :(

I still can't believe you're 45. In your picture you look like an elder Sister to your son, not his Mother and that is the honest truth.

You have shown people what a beautiful, inspirational, rolemodel you are and you've given such a lot to yourself, in an honest way for hard worked for results that you truly deserve.

Have a great day and enjoy yourself misses, because you deserve it. You are a 45 year old superwoman and a truly wonderful Lady. Were lucky to have you here and we do apprecate it a lot.

I wish you nothing but a tonne of happiness, sunshine, rainbows, warmth and smiles for the coming 12 months. You're definitely worth it.

:).

Thank you everyone for all of the birthday wishes!!!!!! :D It was a very nice day. While I was out the kids went to the store and got cupcakes and candles and when i got home they sang Happy Birthday to me. I was soooo touched that I almost cried! Sooo, of course I had to eat a cupcake (or two  ). Man, were they goooood!!!!

Anna, I was stuck at about 113 forever!!! About a few months. I added cardio and timed my carb intake then I went down in weight. However....it is very difficult to maintain. Now that my kids are in sports is very difficult for me to do the evening cardio and I was really stressing about when I was going to fit it in. Since then I have decided that while I want to reach my goals it is not healthy for me to be so obsessed about it. As I said, Anna, we have lives to lead and you are getting married very soon!!! You most likely will not have time to put in the extra cardio and you need your energy for the wedding. I have decided to nix the extra cardio for now since I am so busy now and summer is almost here and I definetly won't want to do it then!! If I stay where I am for the summer then fine! I may pick it up again in the fall and blast it out when I have more time. So one session a day is good with summer activity in there also. I am sure you look great at 114. I think that was my weight when I got married 2 yrs ago and I love how I looked in my pictures. I am sure you will be stunning!!

Once again, thank you all for helping make my 45th so special and for sharing my success one year later and 25 lbs less!!
