It's on the inside of my right foot, towards the front of my arch.

does the shoe have a high arch? It sounds like your foot is sliding around while you are running. Try re-lacing the shoes, pulling tight across the fore foot - not too tight to cause discomfort or circulation problems, but tight enough that your foot feels secure. Are you running over uneven terrain, like a dirt trail? Sometimes the repeated turns and twists of trail running cause blisters. Also, I know I told you thicker socks, but I remembered a running mentor of mine told me once that thin socks were better - in fact he ran sockless (i don't recommend that, tho') so, maybe you should experiment. How old are your shoes? Do they have 300 miles or more on them? Do you have inserts in them? Sometimes those 1/2 inserts (from the arch - back) can cause blisters since they make the foot surface uneven. I use full foot inserts in all my running shoes.
Just some ideas to think about. I hate having blisters.
You can wear a bandaid over it, but it probably won't stay in place. Maybe some petroleum jelly rubbed on it, then put your sock on - will help ease the friction.

I actually saw a guy wearing these at the last big race i was at. Personally I wouldn't be caught dead in them. They look like a generic "one shape fits all" kind of thing. That might work for flip flops, but for a running shoe - no. What if you have a narrow foot, or high/low arches or toes that don't "fit" in those pre made slots. Me no likey...
I've read articles on both sides of the bare foot running debate. I understand the viewpoints of both. Barefoot running is how we were made to run, but that was before concrete and asphalt - the most common running surfaces of most marathons, & distance races. They might work well for trail racing, idk. But for street running, I can't imagine putting my foot out there with no real support!

Those five finger things are mongy. Whoever designed those must have been stoned. Seen them before and they just look like Croc shoes for runners  .

I have had custom made orthotic s for about 5 years & have no idea how I ever lived without them. You could try a larger pad type bandaid on that blister & some neosporin or something to help the healing along.I used to have blisters from walking, so far none from running though :)

Hi Bonnie :) I have considered doing the custom orthotics because I have a lot of problems with my right foot but it's not really in the budget right now - if I remember correctly aren't they quite pricey? Although it would be worth looking into again if it helps prevent more expensive issues down the road!

Last night was a rest night - a friend took me to get a pedicure for my birthday :D Aahhhh, it felt so good! I was a little worried it would bother the blister but she did a great job and the blister actually looks like it is healing after whatever she did to it - it was an hour of Heaven last night :) And I am really ticklish so I don't usually like pedicures! I will definitely have to do that again after the 1/2 marathon

Yes they are expensive, in my case I'm disabled so they were covered, think they are somewhere in the range of 300 +, they apparently last for up to five years or more.Though once you have them, when you put your foot in a shoe without them, its like wearing a loose clog.Pedicure sounds nice, will try one someday :)

They are nice, as long as you aren't too ticklish  Just make sure you find a reputable and clean place, some of the nail salons are pretty sketchy

No workout last night - I got home kind of late and I had a couple of season finales to watch (pathetic excuse, I know!). But on the plus side it sounds like I have 3 different running partners now :) The one that I have run with a few times is a friend I have had since elementary school. Then I have an ex-coworker that wants to start running with me some (she may run the 1/2 marathon with me). And yesterday I just found out that one of my current co-workers wants to help me train :D She has helped others train and she is super athletic. So now I should have plenty of people pushing me to keep going!

Also on a positve note, two of my sisters went running yesterday morning :) I seem to be inspiring my whole family to get healthy - although those two would never admit to it, but I know better :D

That is really nice. That will really help with the motivation!! And your motivating your sisters which is pretty obvious even if they don't say it. Very cool!

Yes!! There is strength in numbers! You could run with each one on a different day, that way you would always have a reason and motivation to stay on track with your training schedule. :D
I've never had a pedicure either. :| For the summer I usually paint mine a bright pink or orange and stick a little glittery stone, or a little flower sticker on each of my big tootsies.

Fun :) I'm not that creative! And I did my own once since the pedicure last month and it just doesn't look the same - I hope I'm not spoiled now! Maybe I will "treat" myself when I hit certain goals...

You're less spoiled than a voting slip from Ohio, in the 2004 presidential elections
