I'm not that bothered with medicine balls, but me and Swiss Balls, now there's an uneasy relationship.

Right now were not on good speaking terms

Yep - the Swiss Ball doesn't like me much either ;)

Today I decided to start recording my food again, and went to everydayhealth.com. They are running a beta program, a bit different from what it was when I used if before, but it works. I listed everything I ate today, and come very short on the number of calories I should be eating. Of course it depends on who you listen to - but everydayhealth not taking into consideration exercise says I need to consume 1500 calories per day. Boss Man says 1800 for a sedentary female...probably 2200 for someone who exercises regularly........today was not a typical, typical day as I ate my yogurt concoction for dinner, but my caloric intake was 1243 ~! So, I could easily have eaten 1000 more calories and still been relatively ok after a fairly good workout? I don't get it.....am I not eating enough? My average calorie intake when I started back in December 2008 was about 1300 per day....guess I'm consistent! Hard to believe the fat isn't just sliding off me - grrrrr!

I have always struggled with this too. When I have done low-calorie diets in the past I lose a lot right away but then plateau. On here I am told that I wasn't eating enough calories so I increased my calories and I still lose weight :) It's hard for me to understand how it's possible, but I guess my body just needed more calories to keep fighting off the fat

Sounds like that is the root of my problem....I need to focus on eating right but more....

Today

Warmed up with Windmills and stretching

Sprint 8 Program Level 5 on Treadmill - 8 intervals, 20 minutes

Finished with stretching and ab work - oblique crunches, crunches, glute kick backs and Swiss Ball stuff...not worth detailing.

Have a great day!

Tracked 1400 Calories today. I have to admit I'm not very hungry - I really didn't eat lunch - I'm taking some supplements that seems to be diminishing my appetite?!? That's the only explanation - nothing else has changed.

I have to say to I find I am losing more by eating enough to have the energy to more. Of course I am a big guy but I am losing while still taking in 2000 calories a day. So I am not starving myself and I know as long as I keep exercising and eat healthy the pounds will eventually go away. In the past when I tried really cutting calories to a minimum it did not work. The fact that you are not hungary is probably a good sign though. :)

Yeah - it WAS a good sign - I weighed in at 168.5 this morning!! Broke MY barrier! Yes! Now I just want to continue going in that direction. My most recent goal is 160, then determine my next goal depending on what I look like ;) I haven't been weighing myself as often as I use to...guess it works! :D

Today I woke up groggy, had to take something to sleep last night - I've been waking all night long lately.....nothing on my mind that's keeping me up, not sure why I'm having sleep problems.....anyway, got a good solid 8 hours and know I'll feel better today.
Yesterday was Cardio - somehow my M-W-F weights, Tu/Thurs Cardio got screwed up - Sat is power walk at campground. Anyway, I'm going to get on the treadmill today, Sprint 8 - and try to get back on my normal schedule. Also I need to spend LOTS of time studying today :(

Have a great day~!

YAY!!! You'll hit your next goal in no time :D

I think I am the opposite with weighing myself. I have to weigh myself once a week or I find myself getting off track. I took two weeks off of weighing and when I did I had gained much more than I wanted to see! I think weighing once a week for me is what keeps me on track.

Thank you ~! It's been such a yo-yo, up/down/up/down from 167 to 178 in the past year - I got down to 167 I think last June or July and never went below that, but I had lots of set backs....I'm really determined to get there this time, no reason not to....hopefully by the mid to end of July!

I'm excited! :!:
