Friday me and a few friends decided to climb a mountain called Lurfjelltind, 1286 meters above sea level. This mountain is pretty far from any roads, so you need to spend 2 days reaching and climbing it, first walking to a cabin at 350 meters and spend the night there. I took a lot of pics, I'll show you a few here.

Our goal!

Few patches of snow here and there further up.

Getting nippy.

View is getting awesome.

You can just see my home town between the 2 rows of mountains.

Getting close to the top.

Finally reached the summit! Long and tough climb, but the view makes it worth it!

Thanks Edgar, I'm gonna get me a better camera than my phone, so hopefully the quality will get better soon.

Beautiful pics Fygle!! I wish i could hiking in the mountains like that on a regular basis! I've done a little hiking in the past like at the grand canyon or in colorado but that was years ago. Nothing like that around my area. Lucky you! :)

Yep. In it for life, Les ;)

@ Lynne: Thank you! I have a friend who is into photography, I think he has transferred his hobby onto me. I'm gonna start out with a newbie cam, though. Don't wanna blow a lot of cash on something I won't be using.

@ musculargirl: Thanks :) I'm coming to Grand Canyon next year! Be ware!

Resting today. My feet were swollen like crazy yesterday, looked like they had the mumps

You shot those pics with a cell phone?????????? OMG - they are beautiful! I'm about to get a new one, can you tell me what you have?

Keep up the good work - it's nice to watch your journey - a little change from the norm :)

Thanks Idematto :) It's a 3 year old Sony Ericsson W710i, doubt they still sell them. I'm also surprised at the quality when you transfer them to a PC.
