Wow… I haven’t been updating for awhile. I will start again with my diet and workout.

Little update:

October was one tough month ever… It has been an emotional ride.
Work was a major stress… Didn’t have time for breaks or lunch… eating and working is NOT the best thing to do but when it comes to deadlines… can’t help it. After work, straight to the hospital…

You know… When I was at the hospital I realized people could have avoided a lot of illness if they took care of themselves better. Daily exercise, better diet, don’t smoke, drink, and do drugs… etc… things they can do to prevent them coming to the hospital and have all kinds of illness.

Once you’re at the hospital… who knows what kind of medicine/drugs they will give you to cure your illness. If it’s the wrong drug… It can really mess you up even more!

In my case… the hospital gave a bad medicine to the person and that person became psychotic. The person didn’t even know who I was, became more ill then before and wanted to commit suicide. No one knew what happen until the doctors look over the changed of medicines and realized one of them had steroids in it. On our case, the steroids made that person psycho. It was very emotional for the whole family to go through it and to a metal hospital. After the medicine was discontinued… the person is recovering.

After one person was getting better another person happen to be hospitalized due to cancer. What can you do when you’re on stage 4? Just waiting for death? I’m at lost… I don’t know what to do… It’s depressing.

After stressing so much lately and having a bad habit of eating out and not working out enough is totally punishing my body and health. Being at the hospital the last month, it’s a really a reality check that I REALLY REALLY REALLY need to take care of myself better. If I can prevent some illness by continue to eat better and exercise and not do stuff that will harm my body…. I’ll DO IT!!!

I'll update tomorrow's Meal Plan later :D

MISS YOU ALL............

One thing you must do is be positive. Don't give the person who is ill reason to think their situation is affecting you deeply, otherwise it might make them feel guilty, as if they're putting through the wringer.

You'll have times to be emotional or feel down about things, but they need to remain away from the hospital, becasue the more the person has to feel better about things the better. If they are in a situation of no return, they need their final days making as positive as possible, because they are going through some unimaginably tough stuff and a few wobbly moments by you, pale into insignificance in comparison.

GOOD LUCK and whatever you do, chin up and keep on being you. You're a wonderful person, so don't underestimate it, because in this situation, you can be a great asset to someone in a seriously ill state.

Question: It should be OK that I eat brown rice in the morning instead of oatmeal right??
I mean, both of them are carbs and high in fiber…

What you guys think? Continue to stick with Oatmeal in the morning??
I feel like, when I eat my rice… its more fulfilling than the oatmeal.
I would eat ½ cup of rice but need 1cup of oatmeal to feel content.

Inputs?

Whole-grains including Oats, contain Beta-glucan, a Cholesterol lowering substance.

I'm pretty sure Rice doesn't. So Oatmeal would score on that one, but Rice contains Calcium and Mgnesium from memory, which Whole-grains don't in any serious amount, as far as I'm aware.

Whole-grains do to my understanding, represent the highest source of non-heam iron out of all edible plant sources.

So both have merits and are consumption worthy :).

Not sure, I think it's classed as a grain. It's actually more richer in Amino Acids than pretty much any other Whole-grains, which are low in Amino Acids / Protein.

There is something called Triticale, which is a Wheat / Barley hybrid, supposedly more Protein rich than most cereals, but I doubt it would have quite the amount of Rice.

Also Rice generally has a slightly different growing requirment. Rice fields can often be very saturated. Most Whole-grain crops are in a fairly arid environment, where they are either artifically watered or allowed to acquire the liquid sustenance from rain, depending on whether the crop is cultivated inside or out.

Fair enough then. I wasn't 100% sure, hence why I didn't flat out refute its right to be classed as a Whole-grain :).

Though the the Micronutrient variations I stipulated, are still true, to the best of my recollection.

Wow… ok, I see lots of benefits for both. Therefore, I will switch around. Thanks for your inputs.

My diet for Tuesday was bad… After Monday night workout I puked out my protein shakes. Once I felt a bit better, I had dinner… I puked that out too… But I was sooo hungry, I had some miso soup, I puked that out as well… So, I gave up on eating and went to sleep.
Tuesday morning, my chest started to hurt and I still wanted to puke but nothing would come out… So, I called the advice nurse to see what my condition was. Instead they made me an appointment to see my doctor. Result, it was a stomach flu. Now on this diet called BRAT.
Bananas
Rice
Applesauce
Toast
I’m also taking medication to prevent the vomiting. I hope tomorrow will be a better day for my tummy!!!

Workout: Depend how I feel... I would like to try out this class (ZUMBA) at the gym.
But if I don’t feel too well for intensive workout then I’ll walk on my elliptical at home.
